All things have their season, and in their times all things pass under heaven. (Ec. 3:1)
It has been more than a decade since I first began “harvesting the fruit of Vatican II,” but with darkness now descending at an unprecedented pace, it’s time to move on.
It’s been one helluva ride.
Harvesting the fruit of Vatican II: The name of the apostolate said it all…
Having once placed my trust in the men who speak from the highest places in Rome, I spent many years scouring the conciliar text in search of good food. It was there for the taking, they said, and naively, I believed them.
In my search for truth, by the grace of God, I came to discover that I, and indeed entire generations, had been grossly misled. My eyes were opened to the bitter reality that I had allowed the Council’s pious sounding phrases to mask the modernist manure that was masterfully scattered within by men of little faith.
Like a little leaven, I finally realized, their poisonous prose had spoiled the entire lump; rendering the task of harvesting, well… fruitless.
Over the last several years, in spite of bearing a name that is but a vestige of a more innocent time, this blog has become a noteworthy base camp for the so-called “traditionalist” – aka Catholic; a place to aid one another in putting the lie to the “New Evangelization” and indeed every novelty that would undermine the true faith.
Together we’ve been sifting through the post-conciliar wreckage; condemning errors, fending off attacks, and standing shoulder-to-shoulder in defense of the Sovereign Rights of Christ the King.
Indeed, my friends, the season of “harvesting the fruit of Vatican II” is passing and it’s time to move on – not in retreat, however – but onto something better.
A few months ago I sounded the alarm; the persecution had hit home. I let you know that this effort couldn’t endure without your ongoing support. Your response was a good beginning; encouraging enough to suggest that it may just be possible to continue.
The need still exists. Even more so. Since then, however, I’ve put a priority on discerning the Lord’s will in the matter. As I’ve told any number of friends, if He wants me to put this blog on the shelf and to go sell shoes door-to-door, I’ll do it.
As it is, I’m here for the long haul. I’m all in, and then some.
So stayed tuned. Changes are coming. Later today, you’ll get your first glimpse. Depending upon when you’re reading this, you may have already gotten it.
In any case, I will follow up with more details on what lies ahead tomorrow. In the meantime – to my American friends, a Blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours. To the others, please know that I’m thankful for each and every one of you wherever you may be.
Vivat Christus Rex!
Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them.
Luke 24:28-29
With respect…would you allow yourself to be constrained, and abide with us?
Looking forward to seeing what is in the wind. We all must stand strong and stand together. The battle is strong, but I really think with all going on in the Church and in the world, Our Lady’s triumph can’t be far off. If it isn’t many will be lost.
It’s been so many years, but so many more Catholics need to catch on to the Vatican II bait and switch operation. Thanks for helping to make that happen.
Staying tuned in….
This sermon sums up the situation 50 years after V-II pretty well, if you ask me:

Louie, I don’t know what your plans are, but I know you will stay in the battle for Christ and His Church. Thank you for all you have done. Thank you for all you will do in the future. God bless you.
I second that.
