End of the world…

Faithful Catholics sometimes feel like everything is falling apart. Well, to some extent it is, and I know why.

Louie, you are absolutely right! “It is the end of the world as we know it” and anyone with any degree of “Catholic” sense should know why. The Traditional Catholics who have remained faithful to the Church, as Christ established It, have helped to preserve the True Catholic Church. Now it is up to the Novus Ordo Catholics to wake up. I fear there are many who know something is wrong, but like Michael Voris, will not face reality and “step up to the plate”.
Louie, you certainly do have a great sense of humor. However, in this video, I sense a great deal of sadness (for very, very good reasons!) God bless you!

God bless and protect you. The truth speakers are always persecuted. Those who refuse to speak out against evil thus acquiescing to it (and by their failure to do their duty, assisting it) save their own skins (at least for now) and turn their backs on the truth speaker as he is being persecuted.

Truly a video for the ages. That grainy draped purple background lends an appropriately penitential air. Feeling rather like I did in the aftermath of 911 and also trying to fathom the pain of our good shepherds like Pope Benedict, Cardinals Burke, Pell and Mueller and Archbishops Leonard and Cordelione.

    ______
Nick Squire, Rome correspondent of the DT writes:
“The bishop himself is not accused of any wrongdoing, but is reported to have been overly-charitable in recruiting “black sheep” priests with distinctly chequered pasts, including trainee priests expelled from seminaries for misconduct.”
    +
But I suspect the real reason is as follows:
“When asked about the investigation, Bishop Oliveri, a fervent traditionalist who once celebrated a three-hour Mass in Latin, told La Repubblica newspaper: “I don’t want to talk about it. This is not the right time.”
    _____
And there you have it. Those darned traditionalist with their 3 hour masses, and no accusations of wrongdoing strike again, 🙂
    _____
But in the mean time, we have Collegeville, the pedophile enabler adn cover uper Danneel appointed by Francis himself to the Synod and Msgr “gets caught in an elevator with a rent boy” Ricca still at the IOC and running Santa Marta hostel. But let’s not mention that. Shhhh.

    EF quotes:
” The diocese of Albenga-Imperia is characterized under Bishop Oliveri, among other things, by a growing number of seminarians. Since the diocese is friendly to tradition and the direction of the training of priests is designed in this sense, priestly vocations are attracted from other diocese in search of a Catholic seminary. The diocese of Albenga-Imperia, which includes only ten percent of the Catholics of Liguria, has more seminarians than the whole rest of Liguria.”
    .
Note* Notice the pattern. Booming seminary, attracting seminarians from other diocese.
    +
“Bishop Oliveri made the headlines because he celebrated Mass in the Immemorial Rite in the Co-Cathedral of Imperia in 2008 on the occasion of perpetual vows of seven Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception. This created considerable media interest because he was the world’s first bishop, who celebrated a public Pontifical Mass according to the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum from the episcopal throne.”
    .
Note* Celebrating according to SP. How could he? 😉
    +
“By the end of 2013, all three branches were closed by Commissioner Volpi in the diocese of Albenga-Imperia. Messa in Latino spoke then of “retaliation” because the bishop “had dared to defend the Franciscans of the Immaculate.”

For those puzzled as to how such judas could ever make it to the top or at least be discliplined/corrected in some way, instead operate in total impunity for decades…

    it’s really simple.

Even before the dreaded (possibly invalid) election of John XXIII the secret cabal started infiltrating the Seminaries, aided by progressive elements already inside the Church.

Once there were enough of them, they started (by the law of big numbers alone) to climb the ecclesiastical cursus honorum.

Not only that, but the inflitrators in position of power (any power, be it Seminary Teachers, Bishops, Arch., Card.) did everything they could to favour their fellow degenerates in their career.

Fast forward to today: the majority of seminaries are run by homos, discriminating against normal candidates, clergy is largely made up by THEM, Cardinalate idem.

And those that ain’t are shunned and boycotted in one way or another, with more to come for sure.

    It’s akin to a cancer.

  19. Berto Slomovicci says:
    October 24, 2014 at 9:24 am

And yes, there were marxist elements (possibly from KGB itself) very active in the Eastern European dioceses (but not unheard of in the west too, remember Communist Parties have been very strong in mainland europe till the late 80s).
But also masonic ones, and jewish-controlled ones.
It is debatable if homos were ever an organised movement or they were simply co-opted by external forces by means of alliance or blackmail.

It doesn’t matter who was what, they all work(ed) in unison to destroy the Church. They have been hugely successfull so far.

Can you imagine today’s world if the Church was unscathed?
It would look very different, because She has always been their only real enemy and had the numbers, the funds, and the Divine mission and protection.

Pope Francis says something like what he said to the Atheists’ who asked if they can go to heaven, too: “Just do good, and I’ll meet you there”, and the machine will translate it to:
“Why not, I’M expecting to get there, and I spend my days preaching against poverty and too much adherence to Dogma, just like you guys do”

    ___
    and ST. PETER :
[1] .. there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. ..–and their perdition slumbereth not. 12] ..these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: .. Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction: Leaving the right way they have gone astray..
    ___
and what Jesus said: ” [Matthew…24] there shall arise false Christs and false prophets.. to deceive, if possible, even the elect. [25] Behold I have told it to you, beforehand. ..[33] ..when you shall see all these things, know ye that it is nigh, even at the doors. 35] Heaven and earth shall pass, but my words shall not pass. …[37] as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. [39].. they knew not till the flood came, and took them all away; so also shall the coming of the Son of man be. [42] Watch ye therefore, because ye know not what hour your Lord will come. [44].. be you also ready, because at what hour you know not the Son of man will come. ..There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

What I think I can’t express or explain well, I don’t. My view of the world is stuck in the year 1958, and proudly so. I hope it stays that way. 6) Francis commence an investigation into the fraudulent Secret Synod.
    7) Publish the homo-mafia report that he received from pope Benedict.
    8) Remove the scandalous Msgr Ricca from the Santa Marta hotel and Vatican Bank,
    9) Give the FSSP and the Ecclesia Dei Commission their own bishops (25 years and still no bishop)….

    Revelations from Argentina’s past:
    — “Bergoglio’s recommendations for who should be made bishop were routinely overturned. Conservative enemies in the church were constantly reporting him to Rome behind his back.”

—“Jerónimo José Podestá was a progressive Catholic bishop whose radical teachings in the 1960s .. [got him] drummed out of the episcopacy by Rome..Bergoglio visited the ostracised bishop on his deathbed and gave him the last rites. HE THEN INSURED THAT THE MAN’S WIDOW, Clelia Luro, AND HER CHILDREN WERE PROVIDED FOR – EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS A FEMINIST AS RADICAL AS WAS IMAGINABLE on the Catholic spectrum, WHO USED TO CELEBRATE MASS WITH HER HUSBAND. DESPITE THAT, BERGOGLIO CONTINUED TO PHONE HER EVERY SUNDAY UNTIL HER DEATH LAST YEAR.”
—” He wants to change the way the church goes about making decisions, to turn it from a monarchy into a body in which pope, prelates, priests and people constitute a collegial communion.”
—He got what he wanted.” “Pastoral conservatives have divided between the two sides. Yet the vote on welcoming gays failed by just two votes to get the two-third majority. —Change is clearly on the march. .. a final report.. was less welcoming to gays and the divorced than Francis wanted.”
—Next Year’s Synod: “It will not be a straightforward business. Indeed it could get rather messy…. Pope Francis is, above all else, a family man.”

    Dear Carmartibos,
It seems you missed the point. Completely. 🙂

Dear Fellow Catholics, please pray for both ARCHBISHOP MYERS OF N.J. -another hero of the Faith and his bellittler- a lapsed Catholic editor- TOM MORAN- who cheers for rebels against God, who helped him mother head for Hell, and reports what they want to hear most, with his “good” news that Pope Francis is replacing Myers with a “humble man” and pushing to change Church teachings:
    ___
“Pope Francis is..nudging the Catholic Church to soften its attitudes towards gays and divorcees. I only wish my mother were here to see it.”
She married a divorced man 11 years after my father died, and according to church doctrine, that meant she could not receive communion. This was a mother of nine children who never missed Mass, and who was never more proud than when our family filled an entire pew at church. Communion was the heart of it, and if she were denied that it would have crushed her soul. But her local priest….knew that Rome was thousands of miles away, and I suspect he had a crystal clear idea of what Jesus might have done in his shoes..he told my mother, he would always be honored to break the rules and give her communion. It was his glorious little rebellion.
    ___
–“I once told that story to NEWARK ARCHBISHOP JOHN MEYER, and his reaction was swift and unequivocal: “That local priest was wrong.”
This was during election season in 2012 when Myers issued a bulletin to all Catholics saying they had a moral obligation to base their votes on opposition to abortion and gay marriage, two topics that Jesus never mentioned. Myers went on to say that gay sex is a purely “selfish enjoyment” because it “lacks openness to the procreative meaning of human sexuality.”
    — “he personifies the pinched and scolding brand of Catholicism that drove people like me away from the church.”
—“When I think of him casting moral judgments on my mom, it makes my head explode, I admit it.”
—“Myers is on the way out, and will almost certainly be replaced by Bernard A. Hebda, the former bishop of Gaylord, Mich., who was sent by the Vatican to assist Myers – or perhaps watch over him. By all accounts, Hebda is a more humble sort. And given that he was sent here by Pope Francis, you can bet that he won’t be so resistant to change.”
—The latest signal from the pope came in a preliminary [Synod]statement… It spoke of the “positive aspects of civil union and cohabitation” and the need for “courageous pastoral choices” to reflect the many varieties of relationships outside the traditional family structure. It called on pastors to treat divorced Catholics with respect while “avoiding any language or behavior that might make them feel discriminated against.”
—Francis hasn’t changed the rules yet. Church doctrine still holds that my mother should have been denied communion, that Myers is right.
But my guess is that will change. In the meantime, I can only pray that all American priests remember the geography. [i.e.Rome is thousands of miles away]

    I love this song.

Doesn’t John Vennari play guitar? Louie should get him together the next time there’s an opportunity, and maybe re-record this better…

I’ll do the backup singing –

    “Caaaan weeee consecrate Russiaaa Nowwww…?”

Any info that appears of this nature, it would be wise to send across to any of the contributors to the Rorate Caeli blog.
I suggest sending it to New Catholic at newcatholic@gmail.
A further suggestion is sending it to Dr. Joseph Shaw at the Latin Mass Society mailbox which is: info@lms.org.uk. He also has an excellent blog at lmschairman.org.

PS With the latest move against the SSPX, it looks like we are nearing the final battle for the Catholic church. Information is our best weapon:. )

It’s hard to beat Mundabor. Although Louie runs a close 2nd place. That was one of his best but really, they’re all spot on. His site is invaluable, and instructive, and funny!

Dear Elizabeth and Indignus Famulus: to Indignus: No, I don’t miss the point, intended to make fun on an issue. But for such a burlesque it need not go the full length of 4 plus minutes in a repetitive and boring fashion; one minute would have sufficed. As to Elizabeth, I appreciate Louie and what he does for Traditional Catholicism, but sometimes such as this, he overdid it.

We posted this on the SSPX blog but it fits the topic better here:
After Judy Brown wrote two books on the American Bishops errors, and was ignored by many of those she was trying to reach, SUDDENLY, the African Bishops’ strongly expressing their convictions have affected Cardinal Dolan’s entire view of the American Episcopacy? If this is true, it’s an answer to many years of prayer. But like the Michael Voris “turn- around” we’ll have to wait and see before jumping for joy.
