In the video at the bottom of the post, I’m interviewed by John Vennari on the documents of Vatican Council II.
The interview took place at the Fatima Conference in Ontario last month, on which note, there is another Fatima Conference taking place November 14-16 in Chicago. If you’re able, please join us. Otherwise, please spread the word!
Bene.
Previous Conferences can be watched on Fatima TV through The Fatima Center site.
Outstanding discussion between two great defenders of the Catholic faith. If you mix pure orange juice with orangeade, the end result is orangeade. If you mix Truth with error, the end result is error. The authors of the Vatican II documents were Modernist geniuses. The confusion and loss of faith caused by this council was not a failure. It was a success by the enemies of the Catholic Church posing as Princes of the Church. Thank you, Mr. Vennari and Mr. Verrecchio. We need clear thinking and guidance to get us out of this mess.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
Thanks for coming down Louie. I enjoyed the Blood & the Rose DVD. Currently lent it to someone else.

Also on topics related to Fatima, I encourage everyone to read through the speech Vladimir Putin gave to the Valdai International Discussion Club in Sochi recently which Western Media pretends doesn’t exist.
–
Putin pretty much, more or less, exposes the game Western Governments have been playing and who are really the masterminds behind terrorism and ISIS. America and Europe are desperate and are formenting war and specifically want to demonize and go to war with Russia. WWIII is inevitable, and Our Lady of Fatima has already informed us as to who the victor will be as Russia will be God’s means of Chastisement against an immoral world.

Sadly Russia is still anti-Catholic, despite any trends towards Russian Orthodoxy and protection against homosexual ideologies and lip-service against abortion.
And another thing of note, a detailed look at the attempt to frame East Ukranian Rebels and Russia for the MH-17 crash.
–
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWlAARb0fN4
–
More recent evidence demonstrates that it was shot down by aircraft bullets, which only the Ukranian military possess in this conflict. But the story was already prejudged and advertised in an effort to further isolate Russia, something which was being kicked into high gear since Edward Snowden’s asylum for leaking documents on America’s illegal unconstitutional spying program, and Russia’s anti-gay-propaganda laws took effect.
Also recommended – a documentary on the Federal Reserve, which can help us understand what is going on behind the scenes of World affairs and U.S. politics. There’s a reason Iraq, Syria & Iran were trying to break away from the U.S. ‘Petro’ Dollar & OPEC, which made them targets early on pre-9/11. And it’s also why the BRICS nations are setting up their own monetary system using their own currencies along with moves back to the Gold Standard or other alternatives like Bitcoin.

Some previous Fatima Conferences covered topics like this, so I’m sharing these here as something I believe many of you will be interested in.
Johnno,
the situation is very dire. It is very worrying.
They’re really pushing the propaganda at a level not seen since Cold War or maybe not even then.
Even pr pieces so sloppy, absurd even common folks are starting to realise something’s off about the entire thing.
I fear they might continue to push forward no matter what.
It is obvious they are directed by someone or something behind the scenes, as most western governments are acting irrationally and against their own interests in pursuing this, both geopolitically and economically.
Thank you for the posts and the links, I hope others will benefit from them.
Eucharist-abuse Alert! A cult group ‘procured’ the Blessed Sacrament to perform experiments to test as to whether the Host contained human DNA or not and thus disprove the Catholic Doctrine of Transsubstantiation. Who wants to bet the unwitting priest placed it right in their hands?
–
Title: Science proves that consecrated wafers are still wheat and not Jesus
–
Now we know that a wafer and wine don’t change into a beaker of blood and a gobbet of flesh after they’re blessed, but one other strategy is to look at the DNA in these substances. Perhaps (or so the Raëlian investigators thought), they’d find human DNA — Jesus’ — in the wafer and wine… And so Marsic and Sam did a study. They purloined five consecrated wafers (they discuss the ethics of this, and decide that it’s okay), and analyzed the DNA of the consecrated wafers as well as that of a “control” group of unconsecrated wafers, a “human DNA” control group from cultured cells, and a negative control (nothing added to the PCR [DNA amplification] reagents).
–
Of course they didn’t find DNA so concluded… “This is why the Raëlian experiment will be ignored by the Church, but also why we should ignore the Church’s pronouncements about reality, for they reflect sets of claims that are untestable but satisfy our emotional needs.”
–
I wonder where those hosts are now, hmmm? Maybe they could’ve consulted those investigations of miraculous consecrated hosts that have actually physically transformed into flesh and blood and which did indeed show human DNA?
–
Michael Egnor takes them and the cheerleading Darwinist who liked their stunt to task here:
http://www.evolutionnews.org/2014/10/darwinian_biolo090801.html
–
He writes: “Coyne’s take on the Raëlian “research” is hilarious, not the least because he gets the Church’s theology precisely wrong. The modern iteration of the doctrine of transubstantiation was worked out in the 13th century by the scholastic philosophers, most notably St. Thomas, who proposed that the change in the Host is substantial, not accidental. All of the properties that could be measured by science are accidental, and do not change with consecration. The presence of human DNA in the Host would have overturned a millennium of Church doctrine.
–
There’s a deep irony here. Coyne mocks Catholic transubstantiation, yet insists that life itself is a grand materialist transubstantiation. Coyne believes that over the past five billion years non-living matter transubstantiated, without intelligent agency, into all life on Earth.
–
Darwin is Coyne’s Aquinas, and natural selection consecrated the primordial soup. The wafer became us.”
While the scientist should be jailed (possibly along with all Raelians) and so should be whoever sold/procured them the consecrated hosts (also defrocked in case it was the priest himself), it should be useful to know:
-the words of Consecration used
-the Rite of Ordination for the priest in question
True Berto, but one thing I find utterly fascinating is the pattern going on. Certainly I’m sure you know of typology with regards to Scripture, and even examples in Church History…
–
In the United States, there is a similar doctrine/practice difference that is tearing it apart – There is the Constitution of the United States – There are the two camps interpreting it – Liberal and Traditional – The authority (government/president), ignore and clearly violate the constitution in practice, while some claim they are following a hermeneutic of interpretation that says they are still acting in accord with the ‘law’ and build a new doctrine for a new order for the world with empty pleasing-to-the-ears rhetoric – some support this claim that the modern world and its circumstances have changed and thus the project for a new American century, spying, military escalation, reduction of rights, reinterpretation of marriage and the family etc. are necessary for ‘stability’ & ‘peace.’ Traditionalist Americans are routinely mocked, villified and even subject to harsh oversight by the IRS, anti-Terrorist policies, and more – while simple Americans are taken advantage of; they can no longer live their lives and freedoms as they’ve traditionally done years ago without violating some ill-advised over-regulation – in fact this is an era where people openly question the validity of the President in office who may not they argue be American-born, and who may have been invalidly elected and an ‘anti-president’, and even question the validity of the election of his predecessor due to the voting machine scandals and other evidence of fraud. The President himself may just be a figurehead with a gun to his head led by an unknown, unseen cartel of powerful interests and lobbies – while their blessed sacrament, the almighty dollar, is printed endlessly & handed out like nobody’s business for economic ecumenism with fraudulent bankers who care not to receive it reverently with due observance of economic and financial law, but maybe hope everything will gradually work out – There is no accountability to law, the courts, senate, house etc. are all a dog and pony show – the Constitutional heretics do as they please with no fear of excommunication, censure or Impeachments.
–
The parallels are striking! The signs of the times are all around us! Only the blind cannot see!
–
Now mind you I’m not a sedevacantist, but I do appreciate the irony where a Council called to clarify itself to the world, has in the end only managed to throw its very own constitution and structure into doubt with the world. Frankly there’s no better juxtaposition than Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation, wherein he releases a confusing statement and precedent that though abdicating, he continues to be a ‘Pope’, but a retired one who dresses in white and maintains the Papal keys in his court of arms; that he somehow continues to hold some spiritual position of the office as if given an indelible mark that he can’t remove where he remains quiet in retirement, while another man – Francis – carries out the practice and action of the Pope. A confusing new novelty that Michael Matt and Chris Ferrera have called on him to explain…
–
Benedict XVI, the retired ‘Doctrine’ Pope goes quietly away to remain hidden & quiet except when he can’t. And Francis, the ‘Practice’ Pope, goes about doing whatever he wants contrary to doctrine in front of the entire world. Occasionally they’ll meet for a hermeneutical photo-op and continuity tea so it appears that doctrine and practice are getting along.
–
Benedict really ought to clear up this confusion, humble himself for the good of the Church’s unity and go back to being Cardinal not only in a legal doctrinal way, but in a real practice-way by wearing Cardinal’s robes, stop calling himself Pope-emeritus, and remove the Papal keys from his court of arms. For once again Doctrine’s own public practice is at odds with his decision, which I believe was made of his own will, given he’s long been signalling that he always intended to retire.
–
Disorientation is a disease more infectious than Ebola. Thank God for people like Sungenis and Delano who are once again reorienting the Church, by putting God’s footstool back in its preferred place and exposing the delirium of Einstein’s Relativity nonsense that has the entire disoriented scientific community drinking transubstantiated Dark Junk out of the crazy black-holed pool they’ve been swimming in for 500 years when they believed they’d unchained the Earth, when they actually unchained their brain from their own heads.
Catholicism shaking of the VII induced “new springtime deranged syndrome”… in Italy.

ILGA has openly revealed since 2001 that the majority of their funding is obtained directly from the European Commission. The gay lobby is thus financed by the European taxpayer. And the rich. In 2012 alone, 1,017,055 euros flowed from the EU Commission in the ILGA-coffers. That’s more than 52 percent of the annual budget. Over such a windfall, other, more widely socially relevant associations were also pleased.

“Gay lobby: Funds Come From the EU and George Soros
Among the other sponsors, there is the ubiquitous in the left-liberal spectrum, financier George Soros, who contributed 200,000 euros, which is more than ten percent of the total budget. ILGA today enjoys consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). This is a position that was long been denied it, because the homo-association refused to condemn “sex between adults and children”. But then it was possible that the gay lobby has brought this last dam to collapse, without having to relinquish these positions.”

Dear S.Armaticus,
Since we’re about the business of waiting for God to rescue His Church and renew the Faith, maybe we can tag on a hope that He’ll do the same for Jesuits, for the sake of it’s Faithful founder. When we get a good Pope he’s going to need good defenders to help him re-educated the world.
___
And we shouldn’t forget how it all started:
Before his conversion St. Ignatius was recovering from surgery, and out of boredom, read the lives of Christ and the saints”. He would then wander off into thoughts of chivalry, and service to fair ladies. Suddenly, he became conscious that the after-effect of these dreams was to make him dry and dissatisfied, while the ideas of falling into rank among the saints braced and strengthened him, leaving him full of joy and peace. It dawned on him that the former ideas were of the world, the latter God-sent. Finally, worldly thoughts began to lose their hold, and heavenly ones grew clearer and dearer.
___
One night as he lay awake, pondering these new lights, “he saw clearly”, says his autobiography, “the image of Our Lady with the Holy Child Jesus”, at whose sight for a notable time he felt a reassuring sweetness, which eventually left him with such a loathing of his past sins, and especially for those of the flesh, that every unclean imagination seemed blotted out from his soul, and never again was there the least consent to any carnal thought.
___
His conversion was now complete. Everyone noticed that he would speak of nothing but spiritual things, and his elder brother begged him not to take any rash or extreme resolution, which might compromise the honour of their family.
____
Perhaps God will allow Ignatius to Appear to Pope Francis, and as his elder brother, beg HIM also not to ” take rash and extreme resolutions, which compromise the honour of their family”.
___
It doesn’t hurt to ask. 🙂

Dear S.Armaticus and all– Regarding Comment #15 above
When we’ve analyzed Cardinal Burke’s words in interviews referring to the Pope, we find the presence of three things–not in any particular order, but at some point in almost every statement:
–he speaks strongly against a grave harm to souls and/or to the Faith ;
–he makes sure he stresses his affectionate, Christian, love for the Pope, and his willingness to serve him faithfully;
–and he distances the Popes words and actions from what he is denouncing, but at the same time indirectly connects them; by attributing grave concerns about them to people other than himself.
Thus, in this interview:
___
-he complained that an earlier Spanish article “misconstrued him as criticizing the Pope”..because when he said, “there is a “strong sense” the Church is like a “ship without a helm” , he ended the sentence with: “whatever the reason for this may be.”
( and who did he say HAS this strong concern about our ship’s captain? -a number of people who have come to him.)
__
He says the Pope is right to call on Catholics to “go out to the peripheries” BUT added “WE CANNONT GO EMPTY-HANDED.”
( “empty handed” meaning “just walk with the other”-without bringing up sin, doctrine, dogma, proselytizing or trying to convert them?)
__
He said “I wasn’t saying that the Holy Father’s idea was this, BUT I’ve seen OTHER PEOPLE USING HIS WORDS, TO JUSTIFY a kind of ACCOMODATION OF THE FAITH TO THE CULTURE which can never be so.” (accomodation to the culture –as in welcoming unrepentant sinners to receive the Eucharist because it’s now to hard for them to change?)
__
He said he “often heard” prelates at last month’s Synod, say that because the culture has changed “so radically,” the Church “cannot teach as we had in the past.” Burke responded- SUCH A VIEW BETRAYS A LOSS OF HOPE IN JESUS CHRIST, Who alone is the salvation of the world.” “The culture is “very corrupt” but that doesn’t mean “we go chasing after it, but rather bring to the culture that which will save it and be full of hope.”
(Of course no mention of who is leading the pack)
__
Questioned about whether there is a genuine risk the Church might SPLIT,
Burke said IF, in the runup to a second synod on the family next October, BISHOPS are seen to MOVE “CONTRARY TO THE CONSTANT TEACHING AND PRACTICE of the Church, THERE IS A RISK– because these are unchanging and unchangeable truths.” (Does BISHOPS include the one in white?)
__
-He also pointed out that the head of the synod, Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, has “identified himself very strongly” with Kasper’s thesis and “subscribes to that school.” (And should we also worry about the one who appointed him?)
__
Finally, “Warning that this battle will continue,
BURKE CALLED ON CATHOLICS TO SPEAK UP AND ACT”
(against the evils of course. AND what of the leader who is promoting them?)
=======
Maybe he wants us all to read between the now-familiar lines?
And one for the “intellectual cud de sac of Francis “category. !

“Catholics and Evangelicals”
_
Link here:http://thatthebonesyouhavecrushedmaythrill.blogspot.com/2014/11/catholics-and-evangelicals.html
_
Blog”:
“Evangelicals have many strengths, among which in many communities is an obstinate refusal to revise the Word of God as they inherit it. They may not believe what Catholics believe about the Bible, but they do retain an insistence that their interpretation of the Word of God, does not simply change with the passage of time.”
_
Note: How true!
_
Next:
“Their beliefs cannot happily co-exist in a united Church without one group of Christians changing their entire belief system. In seeking union, the One True Church would require Evangelicals to accept Catholic doctrine regarding Sacraments (as well as other issues and dogmas), or instead the Evangelicals would require the One True Church to abandon Her Sacraments (and Her dogma).”
_
Note: Logic a 7 year old could understand. 🙂 Unless… that is…. if we are dealing with a “magician”. But I digress….
_
Blog:
“In order for ‘full communion’ to exist between the Catholic Church and Evangelicals, Evangelicals would need to accept the entire Doctrine of the Catholic Church and profess belief in it. Alternatively, the Catholic Church can jettison nearly 2,000 years of tradition and dogma and Her entire Faith and just become a Protestant Evangelical Alliance, but any Pope who sought to do that would be, well…words wouldn’t do that Pope justice. That would be the Protestant Reformation exploding the Church from within and from the top. Pope Francis may truly believe that an insistence on dogma is ‘in the way’ of much that he would like to see happen in terms of the Catholic Church’s response to a great deal, but if any Pope denies articles of Faith, Catholic Doctrine, that individual would traditionally be regarded as some kind of anti-pope figure, who should be resisted by the Faithful and ignored by everyone else.”
_
Note: Oh my! That sticky wicket “capitulation” rears its ugly head. Now we know Francis is against “capitulation’. 😉
_
And now for the punch line:
“That said, as Gloria TV highlighted yesterday, even Baptists are asking some pretty eye-brow raising questions of Pope Francis…”
_
No. Not Gloria TV! Say it ain’t so, Jorge? 🙂
_
Summa Summarum:
“The efficacy of the Christian announcement would certainly be greater if Christians would overcome their divisions and could celebrate together the Sacraments and together spread the Word of God and witness to charity” [Francis quote]. Either Pope Francis is calling upon Evangelicals and other Christians to accept the fullness of Catholic Truth and come into full communion with the Successor of St Peter or he is calling upon the Church to abandon Her Sacraments. Out of the two options, should any union occur, I know which one I suspect to be the case. I don’t know how many Evangelicals are into a poor church for the poor, but then neither is the German Catholic Church terribly keen on that aim. If the Catholic Church incorporated the Evangelical communities, that would, ironically, create a rich church for the rich. A poor church for the poor in the West is a Church faithful to Jesus Christ in times of unpopularity for that fidelity. Of course, the great sell-off of the Catholic religion would reap a healthy revenue indeed, but only at the price of total apostasy.”
_

No capitulation but what unity? Pozzo interview
_
Link here: http://sspx.org/en/news-events/news/no-capitulation-what-unity-pozzo-interview-5434
_
Dici:
“In this interview, Archbishop Pozzo did not say whether he was speaking in his own name—except when he specified “at least in my opinion”—or in the name of his superiors. Nor do we know whether we should consider these openings towards the Society of St. Pius X as similar to those Pope Francis has recently made towards the charismatics. In a speech delivered to the members of the Catholic Fraternity of Charismatic Communities and Associations of the Alliance, on October 31, 2014, the pope strongly insisted upon the notion “of unity in diversity”. “Unity is not uniformity, it does mean necessarily doing everything together, or thinking the same way, or losing one’s identity,” he explained. “Unity is in diversity, it is exactly the opposite, it is recognizing and accepting with joy the differences that the Holy Spirit grants to each person and placing them at the service of everyone in the Church.” And he asked his audience “not to forget that the Charismatic Renewal is by its very nature ecumenical.” In such a broadly “ecumenical” context, the doctrinal questions mentioned by Archbishop Pozzo are certainly of a very relative importance.”
_
Ouch! 😉 😉 😉 😉

I felt the pain as I was reading it. 😉

But seriously folks, wonder if the Francis “brain trust” thinks through these things, or just makes them up as they go along.

Dear S.Armaticus,
You wrote above: “Yep! Call it a Mexican standoff or a binary situation, but one thing is for certain: it can’t be both ”
____
It can’t be BOTH, in reality, but our current leader doesn’t to let bothersome details like that inhibit his plans:
October 10, 2014 (4 weeks ago,) the Pope said to Tony Palmer’s “Ark” community:
“We each have in our Churches excellent theologians,” the Pope says, “but we shouldn’t wait for them to reach agreement.”
__
“We are sinning against Christ’s will because we continue to focus on our differences,” but “our shared baptism is more important than our differences.”
__
While the devil, the “father of lies” divides us, we are called to preach the Gospel in every corner of the earth, with the certainty that He is with us. =========
Never before in history, has so much depend on the true antecedent of a single pronoun.
__
Thou grammatically incorrect, In Charity we must assume that by “He”, the Pope meant Jesus and not the father of lies is with us. But since our beliefs and theirs are so different, and Francis had just declared it sinful to focus on those, we could only be joining hands to preach Two Different Gospels, in which case the “he” going with us, could ONLY be that father of lies.
__
Ironic and Tragic. But we know this drama has not yet reached its final act, in which the King of Kings arrives with all the Saints to judge justly, and rule with an iron rod..
http://en.radiovaticana.va/news/2014/10/28/pope_to_ark_community_we_must_focus_on_unity_not_divisions/1109609
Dear S.Armaticus,
“Unity is not uniformity, it DOES mean necessarily doing everything together, or thinking the same way, or losing one’s identity,” he explained. “Unity is in diversity, it is exactly the opposite, it is recognizing and accepting with joy the differences that the Holy Spirit grants to each person and placing them at the service of everyone in the Church.”
Is the above quote the victim of a typo that hit the spot that mattered most?
Was it supposed to read …it DOES NOT mean, necessarily doing everything together, or thinking the same way…? (Ironically once again, we see words which accidentally reflect the reality better, before making any correction.)
😉 😉
Dear S.Armaticus,

_
Google Translate version:
“Unity in diversity. Uniformity is not Catholic, not Christian. Unity in diversity. The unit is different but it is a Catholic. And ‘interesting! The same that makes the difference is the same that makes the unit: the Holy Spirit. Does two things: unity in diversity. Unity is not uniformity, is not required to do everything together, or think the same way, not even to lose their identity. Unity in diversity is precisely the opposite, you acknowledge and accept with joy the different gifts that the Holy Spirit gives to each one and put them all in the service of the Church.”
_
W/r/t to typo, and to be perfectly fair, it is hard to say what Francis had in mind by saying: “Unity is not uniformity, is not required to do everything together, or think the same way, not even to lose their identity.
.
Looks like he is saying that “Unity is not required to do everything together….” Which is standard for Francis in his “if it feels good, do it” theology.
.
But what this passage also demonstrates for the umpteenth time is Francis’s sloppy thought process. Let’s face it, intellectually speaking, the guy is rather thick.
Dear Indignus:
You raise a very interesting point, when you write: “but our current leader doesn’t let bothersome details like that inhibit his plans”.
.
Like I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, I find it hard to understand what Francis is trying to accomplish with the sects. Let me qualify that by saying: “on a theological level”. On the one hand he is saying “no need to change” and “unity in diversity” but on the other hand, he is aiming for some sort of a “convergence” into “a” sort of a unified church structure. If you really think about it, what he is saying is analogous to US authorities allowing the English to immigrate to the US while still allowing them to drive on the opposite side of the road. It makes no sense.
.
However, if we “follow the money” there could be an explanation. What Francis is driving at is revenue sharing. If would appear that Francis does not really care if you believe in Satan as long as you are a good person (Who is he to judge?). What is important is that some sort of an umbrella organization emerges, a la the protestant multinational council of churches that creates a common pot with a revenue sharing arrangement. Think major league baseball.
.
The above also goes a long way in explaining Francis’s silence on the situation in Germany with the Kirchensteuer, where the German bishops barr the Faithful from the sacraments because they do pay the church tax. 😉

” (Paris) numbers are neither traditionalist nor modernist, but facts are being noticed. In France, there are only 14,000 diocesan priests. About half of them are older than 75. This means that the situation is dramatic.
.
To conduct but one parish is already a big job. In France it has become “normal” that a pastor has to take care of a dozen parishes. A regular celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is impossible. In most parishes it is celebrated only occasionally. In the diocese of Langres, each priest must take care for an average of 50 parishes. In short, it is almost resigned to a spiritual catastrophe. The numbers of priestly ordinations is also discouraging. In 2009, only 89 diocesan priests were ordained in France. Far too little to compensate for the decrease due to death. These numbers seem like reports coming from the front with the losses to an army. You could cry.
.
Fortunately, there is good and encouraging news coming from the seminaries of tradition. The traditional communities and dioceses have offspring. More, their seminars are full. It is therefore to be hoped that more old rite seminaries will be opened. There is no danger that they remain empty, since there is a strong interest in tradition by young believers.”

EF writes:
” (Rome) Cardinal Raymond Burke has played the role of the visible counterpart to the reigning Pope since the Synod of Bishops. Which was for many years until his death in 2012, under very different circumstances, played by the Archbishop of Milan, Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, from the Jesuit Order, against Popes John Paul, and Benedict XVI. Burke accused the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops of “manipulation” of Pope Francis having done “great damage” and described the controversial interim report of the Synod as a “betrayal”. The Vatican expert Sandro Magister sees his removal from the Roman Curia by Pope Francis move closer and references the published Rescriptum of two days ago.”

” A few days after the end of the Synod of Bishops Cardinal Burke celebrated Pontifical Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica for a Third International Pilgrimage of Tradition. “Pope to Italian Religious: Fighting is Better Than Gabbing and Gossipping”

EF:
“Pope Francis is for open discussion among religious in splace of secret gossip. “If you have something against your brother, tell him to his face. Maybe you’ll end up in a fight, but better this than the terror of gabbing,” he told the conference of Italian religious superiors in the Vatican on Friday.”
_
Note: Some context is necessary here. For people who are used to living in countries where the “rule of law” prevails, hearing stories like this lead to chuckles and eventually to jokes about Baghdad Bob.
–
But for people who live under totalitarian regimes (benevolent or even benign dictatorships included), rumors and gossip are taken very seriously. When you have a situation where the government for all intents and purposes rests in one man’s hands (a la Jorge), and if that man is deposed, the ruling elite gets beheaded ( a la what is happening to the Ratzingerians presently). In these types of dysfunctional environments, rumors and gossip serve as an unofficial means of communication within the ruling elite how desperate the situation is. It allows these people to gauge how far they should go in carrying out the “will of the dictator”. Yes?
.
If anyone remembers the Godfather II scenes from the fall of the Batista government in Cuba, this is the type of dynamic that we are dealing with.
_
Therefore, if Bergoglio is “freaking out” publicly about gossip, you know things must be bad.
_
Which means, things must be good for Catholicism, i.e the Holy Spirit is at taking care of business. 🙂
Got caught up in the context text, that I forgot the most important part of the post.
_
Here it is:
_
EF:
“The religious life should, in the words of Pope Francis, not be confused with an ideology. “True prophecy is never ideological; it does not follow fashion, but always stands for contradiction in the name of the Gospel, as Jesus also represented it,” he said. Therefore it is important that religious lead no rearguard defense of the Church, but remain in the center of the divine action where Jesus stood. The charism of a religious order should not be like a sealed bottle of distilled water. It unfolds only in the prevailing reality and culture.
_
Did we all get that.
_
Let’s make this real simple: Therefore it is important that religious lead no rearguard defense of the Church, but remain in the center of the divine action where Jesus stood.””
_
Yea. “Rearguard defense of the Church” 😉 😉

M writes:
“Still, we can ‘t lower our guard. If a huge mess and a split between Catholics and Neo-Pagans is to be avoided, then the only way to do so is to do what more and more prestigious prelates are doing; and thus either isolate and neutralise as far as possible the Neo-Pagans, or expose them as such and let every soi-disant Catholic decide where to put the stakes of his own salvation: the truth of all times, or a dope pope of 32 months.”
_
Note: “Isolate and neutralize the Neo-Pagans, or expose them as such..” This is key since these folks, i.e. the Baldessari’s and the Forte’s of the world hate the sunshine. They do all their work under the cover of darkness. If they feel that there will be repercussions when Francis’s papacy goes horribly wrong, they will start receding back into the holes from which they crawled under hoping to wait for a better time.
_
Back to M:
“This, my dear readers, is the right attitude. Crying heresy – Bishop Athanasius cries even worse than this – without half words, and stating very clearly what will happen if the Pope continues on his road to hell is the only way to maximise the chances of stopping the madman. At the same time, it is the best and most effective way to fight against Francis if the man were to put himself at the head of a heretical movement. He must be made to understand that an open confrontation would plunge the Church in a chaos that would have him as the first victim on day one: because even in his most drunken state this man most know his legacy will be doomed, and possibly his papacy with it, if he is mad enough to go on with his plan. He couldn’t remake the church if he were 40. But he is almost 80. He has no time to even try. And he knows the trying would mean an extremely high price to pay.”

David Gibson, who helped Sr. Campbell pen her memoir, wrote in September that the nuns had raised most of the $400,000 they needed for the tour “mainly from Network members and from foundations that promote voter registration and health care reform.” Because of the nuns’ concern for big money’s influence on politics and their advocacy for Democrat-leaning causes, one might expect a journalist to dig a little deeper into the sources of the nuns’ funding. Indeed, Gibson’s account is made conspicuous by the absence of further detail.”

S.armaticus
Crying heresy – Bishop Athanasius cries even worse than this
Lionel:
Bishop Athanasius Schneider makes the same error as John Vennari and Louie Verrechio in the video above.
Bishop Schneider has called for a Syllabus of Errors on Vatican Council II.He is not aware that there can be two ways of interpreting UR 3, for example, and the rest of Vatican Council II.
He assumes UR 3 refers to known cases in the present times who are a break with Tradition. The visible- dead.
For me UR 3 refers to a possibility known only to God.It is a hypothethical case. So it is not an exception to Tradition ( extra ecclesiam nulla salus, Catechism of Pope Pius X etc).
He uses an irrational premise, as do John Vennari and Louie Verrechio, in the interpretation of UR 3 ( and also NA 2,LG 16, LG 8 etc).
I do not add a premise in the interpretation of UR 3, NA 2, LG 16,LG 8 etc.
So for me Vatican Council II is not a break with extra ecclesiam nulla salus and the traditional teaching on other religions and Christian communities.
Bishop Schneider’s interpretation of Vatican Council II is heretical, non traditional and irrational. He is not aware that the premise he uses , comes from the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 which is responsible for all this confusion.
According to Ad Gentes 7 all need ‘faith and baptism’ for salvation. All signifies there are no know exceptions in 2014. There are no known exceptions mentioned in Vatican Council II. LG 16,UR 3 cannot be an exception since humanly we cannot see people who are now in Heaven.
Ad Gentes 7 is saying all Jews, Muslims and other non Catholics are on the way to Hell since they do not have Catholic Faith and the baptism of water. It is saying that the Prophet Mohammad needed faith and baptism for salvation. He did not have it.
If liberals wrongly say that only those who know about Jesus and the Church and yet do not enter are damned (LG 14) (and imply that we can know these cases in 2014 for them to be exceptions) then it must be noted that the Quran indicates that the Prophet Mohammed knew about Jesus and the Church and yet chose to found another religion. In this religion they take his name when they pray and circle a big stone believing their sins are forgiven.
Ad Gentes 7 indicates, all the members of the B’Nai Brith are on the way to Hell without faith and baptism. They are educated and are aware of Jesus and the Church and yet do not enter.
Most people do not have faith and baptism at the time of death. Jesus says the way to Heaven is narrow and the way to Hell is wide and most people take it. Most people die without the baptism of water( John 3:5, Mk.16:16), without the Sacrament of Confession and with mortal sin on their soul.
This is the official teaching of the Catholic Church in Vatican Council II and after Vatican Council II and it is not just a personal opinion. I am quoting you Church text in Vatican Council II which affirms Tradition and which is still ignored by Bishop Athanasius Schnieder, John Vennari and Louie Verrecchio.
Something has just been brought to my attention.

Question: Is Francis trying to “high jack” bishop Schneider’s message?
_
Timeline:
-) 4/5 November: Bishop Schneider interview appears in Polonia Christiana. Labels modernists as “Neo-Pagans”.

-) 7 November: Francis at Friday Mass homily uses “Pagan Christian” label for Christians who ” “worldly Christians, Christians in name only, with two or three Christian features, but nothing more.”

If the above is the case, looks like the Vatican media operations have mounted a “Media Rapid Reaction Force” to counter the messaging coming out of the Burke camp. The message is getting out into the MSM. And the large news aggregators like Drudge is picking it up.

_
PS. I broke down and opened a twitter account. @S.Armaticus if anyone cares.
Dear S.Armaticus,
Scripture teaches that God uses every circumstance, including those we bring on ourselves through sin, to draw all men to Himself. Those you highlighted here are certainly no exception
— Isis has been allowed power for a time, to demand conversion (and payment of taxes) or face physical torment and death;
— Deceived Churchmen likewise have been allowed power for a time, to demand conversion to false beliefs, (and payment of taxes) or face public condemnation and excommunication (spiritual torment and death).
___
Key lessons here for the Faithful are found in Apocalyptic encouragements and warnings, which follow the descriptions of such “beasts” :
— ” Here is wisdom” ” ” Here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” “And I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: Write: Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord. From henceforth now, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow them.”
–For ” those who have adored the beast, and his image, and whoever receiveth the character of his name:
..the smoke of their torments shall ascend up for ever and ever: neither have they rest day nor night ”
___
Every day of our lives we’re challenged again and again to make one of the same two choices -whenever temptation comes:
— follow Jesus on the narrow road to heaven, taking up an unpleasant cross in order to further renounce the prince of this world and all his works and pomps;
— or follow Satan on the wide road to hell, choosing an llusiory sinful pleasure, which rejects the King of Kings, and the Graces His Church provides.
__
We tend not to see these daily events as matters of life or death, until such times as these, when choices and consequences are so dramatically brought to the attention of all mankind on the “world stage”. But even when these loud trumpets begin to sound, the spiritually dead can still be raised to new life.
It’s when the last one sounds, that it will be too late. What we do in-between, matters greatly. And we have a chance here, thank God, to call attention to these things, that souls may yet be saved..
Dear S.Armaticus,
Sorry your extra work here was for naught–one reading in English is enough to cause indigestion … 😉 😉
Dear S.Armaticus,
Judging from last Tuesday’s election results, it appears their bus, as well as their message, just ran out of gas. 🙂 🙂
Dear S.Armaticus,
Asked in a recent interview, whether his upcoming demotion was retaliation for speaking out against the progressive agenda, Cardinal Burke said he didn’t want to comment on the possible causes of it, until he had the papers in his hand.
Since that excuse is now removed, his next interview could be interesting, although if he stays true to recent form, he’s more likely to say he doesn’t indulge in speculating on such things, but takes every change as the will of God leading him through his life.
On the other hand…. 🙂 There’s always the slim chance that the old “Malta” spirit will kick in, now that he has nothing to lose, rank-wise. Time will tell.

I sense something strange about this use of the term ‘pagan’ to label enemies. It’s a word you can use to avoid a more clearer definition e.g Mason, marxist, atheist, modernist etc.
–
You’d be lucky to find .001% of the population who identify as ‘Pagans’, so what does it mean? Nothing. If anything, the Church is desperately in need of some actual pagan qualities — as most people understand the term.
–
Dear Indignus:
–
I think that the Bergoglian ‘god of surprises’ might not be all that it is cracked up to be.
_
By this move, Francis is giving Burke the free time to organize the resistance. He is also giving him access to the Knights of Malta social network. There is large money there. And very influential people.
_
If cd. Burke plays it right, he could have just gotten the keys to the next papacy.
_
On another note, I decided to go on twitter. I have used the picture of the Maltese Knights Grand Master, and victor in the battle of the Great Siege of Malta, Jean de la Valette as my icon.
–
My twitter banner is the victory of Jan III Sobieski the Polish king at the gates of Vienna. I think in this fight, the Poles, who displayed heroic virtues at the Shameful Secret Synod of 2014 will most likely be the key to our upcoming victory.
_
Pray for all of these warriors of Christ that they may be victorious in these dark days of our Church. 😉
_
Our Lady of Victory, ora pro nobis.
St. Michael Archangel, ora pro nobis
Archbishop Lefebvre, ora pro nobis
Dear Sendros:
.
Picking a random dictionary, the term pagan appear with the following definition: Pagan: noun
.
1.one of a people or community observing a polytheistic religion, as the ancient Romans and Greeks: no longer in technical use.
.
2.Disparaging and Offensive. (in historical contexts) a person who is not Christian, Jew, or Muslim; a heathen.
.
3. a follower of any of various contemporary religions that are based on the worship of nature or the Earth; a neo-pagan.
.
4.Disparaging and Offensive. an irreligious or hedonistic person.
.
5.Disparaging and Offensive. an uncivilized or unenlightened person.
_
Now as far as my post is concerned, what is suggested and what I think is important is that bishop Schneider used term “neo-pagan” to describe the “Bergoglian theology” which by all objective evidence is degenerating into something along the lines of definition 3., i.e. “a follower of any of various contemporary religions that are based on the worship of nature or the Earth; a neo-pagan.”
.
No more than 3 days later, Francis responded using the same term.
_
I suspect that the use of the “neo-pagan” label hit home.
_
Now why is that important? Because the people that Francis needs to keep pacified are the church hierarchy and Vatican staff. He needs them to do what he wants them to do. In other words, he can’t afford to be on the wrong side of an “Italian strike”. And if Francis and his cabal go too far, the bishops and to a larger extent the cardinal could start revolting. The situation is very tense as it is. And if the heirarchy starts revolting, it is over for the Francis papacy.
_
W/r/t the masses, it’s really of minor importance.
Dear sendros,
It’s not about what percentage of the population ” identify themselves” as pagans. It’s about how many actually believe and act that as such–which is a much larger percentage these days.
At (5:22) on the video John Vennari says Cardinal Kaspar says that we put side by side a propostion and its opposite .So there is ambiguity.
Really?
For example Cardinal Kaspar and John Vennari and Louie Verrecchi Ad Gentes 7,Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism. While Lumen Gentium 16 infers, implies, suggests for the three of them, that all do not need faith and baptism since a person can be saved in invincible ignorance.
Here the fault is not with Vatican Council II. Since the text does not state that there are known cases saved in invincible ignorance (and without the baptism of water). It has to be inferred wrongly here. This is the conclusion of Cardinal Kasper and John Vennari and Louie Verrechio. They make a wrong inference.
For me LG 16 is hypothetical and known only to God .So it cannot be an exception in 2014 to the dogma on salvation or Tradition in general. The ambiguity comes from Kaspar and the others. The text is traditional.
Similalry later in the video John Vennari and Louie Verrecchio will assume that UR 3 is an exception to traditiion.
Here is another example, to show how the reasoning is wrong:
Lumen Gentium 14 says all need to enter the Church .Let us call this passage A :-
A.
Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church. -Lumen Gentium 14
Now comes the part which is assumed to be visible and so an exception to what is quoted above in A.Let us call it B.
B.
Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved.-Lumen Gentium 14
Lionel: The ambiguity is created by Cardinal Kaspar since he assumes that B refers to known and visible cases in the present times. Since they are allegedly known, they would be an explicit exception to A. So he concludes all do not need to enter the Church in the present times.
Behold! Vatican Council II now contradicts itself and becomes ambigous. He uses the irrational inference and the Council is a a break with Tradition.Without the inference the Council here is traditional. There are no exceptions to A.
Here is another passage, in which we can see the influence of Cardinal Richard Cushing and the Jesuits from Boston.Let us call this passage C. They imply here that these Catechumens are saved without the baptism of water and these cases are known to them. They are in Heaven saved without the baptism of water is the conclusion.Since they are known to them allegedly they become exceptions to the dogma on salvation and Tradition. This is false. Since these Catechumens cannot be named.
C.
Catechumens who, moved by the Holy Spirit, seek with explicit intention to be incorporated into the Church are by that very intention joined with her. With love and solicitude Mother Church already embraces them as her own.-Lumen Gentium 14
So B and C can only contradict A if it is wrongly inferred that the dead now in Heaven, saved, are visible on earth to be exceptions to the traditional teaching on salvation. In this way Cardinal Kaspar,John Vennari and Louie Verrecchio make the Council ambigous.
B and C are not a problem for me since I assume they are hypothetical cases known only to God.
For Cardinal Kaspar they are not hypothetical cases.
So there is a propostion A but B and C are not its opposite.
They are its opposite only if you add an irrational inference i.e only if you assume that the dead who are now in Heaven and saved as mentioned in LG 16,UR 3 etc , are visible and known on earth in 2014 to be explicit exceptions to all needing to enter the Church with ‘faith and baptism’ for salvation.
This is a subtle error and is the cause of the confusion and ambiguity in Vatican Council II.
Ah ok thanks for the clarification and that makes sense regarding internal politics.
–
I think though the common view of paganism or neo-paganism today would be something like what the Fascists/Nationalists were doing in the mid-20th C. Essentially, a strong-tribal-ethnic-warrior polytheism.
–
And the truth is, the ‘traditionalist’ elements (particularly in Europe) are very close to swing back to that direction. When you have 50% youth unemployment, untold numbers of Muslims building mosques, foreign corporations owning your industries, no sovereignty etc and no help from either government or the Church… well there isn’t much choice.
–
Calling the modernist-liberalist crowd Neo-pagans is really pushing it. There was no homosexual unions/families in Pagan Europe. In fact there’s very little paganism about modernists at all.
–
Point is, I’d hate to see both sides of the Church denigrating ‘Paganism’ as the ultimate evil given the situation we are in. Internally, fine, but publicly, it makes no sense and ultimately betrays its own people.
John Vennarri says that one has to approach Vatican Council II documents (2:19) from a Catholic point of view otherwise the Council could be misleading. He says that we do not approach the Council of Trent or Vatican I similarly.
Vatican Council II instead he says has to be read as Catholic with all these presuppositions because the Council documents do not necessarily give you a Catholic point of view.
Even with other Church documents John Vennari, Louie Verrecchi, Cardinal Walter Kaspar and the SSPX bishops and priests make the same mistake.
Take for example the Catechism of Pope Pius X. One has to be careful in the intepretation, similar to Vatican Council II.
In the Catechism of Pope Pius X 27 Q is not contradicted by 29 Q unless you assume that those who have received implicit desire (baptism of desire) are explicit for us .So one has to be careful here.
27 Q. Can one be saved outside the Catholic, Apostolic and Roman Church?
A. No, no one can be saved outside the Catholic, Apostolic Roman Church, just as no one could be saved from the flood outside the Ark of Noah, which was a figure of the Church.-Catechism of Pope Pius X 1905,Rome.
29 Q. But if a man through no fault of his own is outside the Church, can he be saved?
A. If he is outside the Church through no fault of his, that is, if he is in good faith, and if he has received Baptism, or at least has the implicit desire of Baptism; and if, moreover, he sincerely seeks the truth and does God’s will as best he can such a man is indeed separated from the body of the Church, but is united to the soul of the Church and consequently is on the way of salvation. -Catechism of Pope Pius X, Rome 1905
1. On the University of Bristol video, Prof. Gavin D’Costa,a liberal Catholic professor of theology, assumed that ‘ a ray of Truth’ mentioned in Nostra Aetate 2 is explicit for us. So Nostra Aetate is considered an exception to the traditional teaching on salvation i.e 27 Q of the Catechism of Pope Pius X.
This is objectively wrong
2.In 2013 Bishop Fellay wrote the preface for the book written by the SSPX theologian Fr.Jean Marie Gleaze, Vaticano II- Un Dibattito Aperto (Editrice Ichthys). He recommended the book.
Fr.Jean Marie Glleize says in this book that in Mystici Corporis Pope Pius XII says ‘ in the exceptional way one can be saved outside the visible limits of the Catholic Church.’ How can there be an exceptional way to the dogmatic teaching? We do not know any explicit, visible case which could be an exception. If there are no known exceptions how can there be an exceptional way ?
Fr.Gleize is making the same error as the other priests and bishops of the SSPX in assuming that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance, imperfect communion with the Church etc are visible exceptions. In faith we accept the baptism of desire as being implicit. It is a possibility. It is not an exception. It is hypothetical and not an exception to 27Q.
3.Also there is no text in Mystici Corporis which says there is an exceptional way. Neither does the Catechism of Pope Pius X state that there is an exception to 27Q.It does not state that 29Q is an exception. So Mystici Corporis has also to be read carefully.
4.Similarly the Council of Trent has to be read with a rational and Catholic approach because of the confusion caused by theologians.
The Council of Trent mentions the baptism of desire but does not say if it is de facto or de jure known to us. Just about everyone, from the Most Holy Family Monastery to the Urbaniana, Angelicum, Gregorian and other Pontifical Universities in Rome assume, it is de facto known to us in the present times.
By which words, a description of the Justification of the impious is indicated,-as being a translation, from that state wherein man is born a child of the first Adam, to the state of grace, and of the adoption of the sons of God, through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, our Saviour. And this translation, since the promulgation of the Gospel, cannot be effected, without the laver of regeneration, or the desire thereof, as it is written; unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
Canon IV-If any one saith, that the sacraments of the New Law are not necessary unto salvation, but superfluous; and that, without them, or without the desire thereof, men obtain of God, through faith alone, the grace of justification;-though all (the sacraments) are not indeed necessary for every individual; let him be anathema.”-Council of Trent
5.And finally there is the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 which infers that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are known exceptions to the traditional interpretation on the dogma by Fr.Leonard Feeney.
John Vennari, Cardinal Kaspar and so many others are misinterpreting these Church documents and then repeating the error on to Vatican Council II.

Dear Lionel,
A)I have read your comments many, many, many times now…and the central theme and conclusion seems to be “You have to be in the Catholic Church to be saved”(any exceptions, known only to God,being physically dead, though alive in heaven or purgatory, are not visible to our eyes, and therefore remain hypothetical to the central theme)…is that a fair summary of your viewpoint?
B) When Protestants ask the question”Are you saved, brother?”, we reply..”I am redeemed, but will only know I am saved upon arrival in heaven(thus avoiding the sin of presumption)……..Would not the Protestant then be able to use your argument , that even if I actually made it to heaven, as he couldn’t subsequently see me with his physical eyes, I was effectively now a hypothetical exception to salvation being applicable to a Catholic Church member…..
Please could you explain things at an ultra simple level
Ever Mindful
I have read your comments many, many, many times now…and the central theme and conclusion seems to be “You have to be in the Catholic Church to be saved”(any exceptions, known only to God,being physically dead, though alive in heaven or purgatory, are not visible to our eyes, and therefore remain hypothetical to the central theme)…is that a fair summary of your viewpoint?
Dear Ever Mindful
A.Thank you for reading my comments. Thank you for the interest.
I speak with reference to Vatican Council II ( Ad Gentes 7), the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, the Catechism of Pope Pius X and the Syllabus of Errors. They all state that you need to be in the Catholic Church to be saved from Hell. They also do not mention any exceptions to all adults needing Catholic Faith with the baptism of water.
Since liberal theologians, traditiionalists and Catholics in general and the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 infer that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance, are exceptions, to the traditional documents, I keep saying that these cases are not visible to us and so they cannot be exceptions. Hypothetical cases cannot be defacto exceptions in 2014 to the traditional teaching on salvation.
B.
”I am redeemed, but will only know I am saved upon arrival in heaven(thus avoiding the sin of presumption)
Lionel:
Agreed! With fear and trembling we still work out our salvation and will know for sure when we are in Heaven.
Would not the Protestant then be able to use your argument , that even if I actually made it to heaven, as he couldn’t subsequently see me with his physical eyes, I was effectively now a hypothetical exception to salvation being applicable to a Catholic Church member…..
Lionel:
In faith we know the conditions for going to Heaven. As Catholics we meet those conditions if we die without mortal sin on our soul.We are assured of this by our faith.
In faith we know the saints are in Heaven. Physically we cannot see any one in Heaven, including the saints.
Please could you explain things at an ultra simple level
Lionel Andrades
I believe the main point that Chris, Matt and the SSPX would like, alongside many other confused Catholics, is that the Pope amend the vague statements of VII to be more precise. If Vatican II is perfectly orthodox when interpreted correctly, then it should be a simple matter of amending them to be more explicitly precise. This would guarantee orthodoxy and clear up any ambiguities, then I’m sure the SSPX will happily sign on and we could all move on. Why the Pope and the Hierarchy refuse to even entertain this simple notion and simply do it is mystifying unless we assume they are filled with inordinate pride about the council or that the ambiguities were intentional for the purposes of ‘ecumenical dialogue’ where by pretending to be less Catholic, we will be more accommodating to other false religions to join us, which is a very stupid and failed idea.
Oy Vey… nobody’s picked up on this yet?

Pope to open conference on traditional marriage
–
A month after closing a Synod of Bishops on the family stirred by controversy over divorce, same-sex unions and other nonmarital relationships, Pope Francis will open an interreligious conference dedicated to traditional marriage. The Vatican-sponsored gathering, on the “Complementarity of Man and Woman,” will take place Nov. 17-19 and feature more than 30 speakers representing 23 countries and various Christian churches, as well as Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Taoism and Sikhism. The conference will aim to “examine and propose anew the beauty of the relationship between the man and the woman, in order to support and reinvigorate marriage and family life for the flourishing of human society,” according to organizers.
–
The conference was an initiative of Cardinal Muller, who proposed it to Pope Francis in November 2013, according to Helen Alvare, a professor at George Mason University School of Law in Virginia, who is handling press relations for the event. The conference is officially sponsored by the doctrinal congregation, and co-sponsored by the pontifical councils for Promoting Christian Unity, for Interreligious Dialogue and for the Family. The heads of all four Curia offices are scheduled to address the assembly.

Putin demonized for thwarting neocon plan for global domination
–
The continuing attacks on Vladimir Putin and Russia by members of the western political, military and journalistic elite tell us one thing – the Russian President is doing a good job both for the people of his country and in the international arena. For it is a rule which invariably holds true – if the Western elites praise the leader of a foreign country it means he is doing something which is good for those elites and bad for his country. If he’s demonized, as Putin is, it’s the other way round.
–
Was it Russia which launched an illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003 – claiming the country possessed WMDs which threatened the world? Was it Russia which led the illegal bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999? The US hasn’t just pushed the ‘limits of international order’ it has been the number one international law breaker over the past twenty years. ‘Russian aggression against our NATO allies’? Not one NATO country has been attacked by Russia – or threatened with attack. The aggression has been from the US against Russian allies. Over the last twenty or so years we have seen the US target a series of countries which had friendly links to Russia, including Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya and Syria. It’s the US and its NATO allies who clearly need to be deterred, not Russia.
–
Dempsey says he is worried about Europe, but it’s Russia which has cause to be worried about the US and Europe. Just take a look at the map on how NATO, since the fall of communism in Eastern Europe twenty-five years ago – has expanded eastwards, despite promises made by the west that NATO would not expand.
–
A CNN article on how 9/11 was a ‘turning point’ for Putin makes interesting reading today. It shows how much Putin was willing to co-operate with the US and gives lie to the assertion that it was he who provoked the ‘new’ Cold War. The truth is that it was the aggressive neocon faction within the Western elite which did that. They’ve been calling for sanctions on Russia for over a decade now – way before Russia’s non-existent ‘invasion’ of Ukraine. The current ‘cold war’ against Russia can be traced back to 2003.
–
In 2008, Putin, now firmly established as a NeoCon hate figure, angered the endless war lobby still further by standing up to aggression by the US client state of Georgia against the people of South Ossetia. The importance of what happened in Georgia in 2008 cannot be understated. It was as Seumas Milne notes in his book The Revenge of History “one of two events in 2008 which signalled the end of the New World Order of unchallenged US global and economic power” ( the other was the banking crash). “The former Soviet Republic (Georgia) was a particular favorite of Washington’s neoconservatives” says Milne. “Its forces, armed and trained by the US and Israel, made up the third-largest contingent in the occupation of Iraq…..The short-lived Russian-Georgian conflict marked an international turning point….. Russia had called a halt to a relentless process of US expansion.”
–
The neocon plan is for the Russian economy to be weakened by sanctions, which they hope will lead to a reduction in support for Putin and make it easier for them to destabilize the country and bring about a ‘regime change’ in Moscow. They want a compliant stooge in the Kremlin who will surrender all of Russia’s natural resources, and allow them to get rid of President Assad and the Baathists in Syria – an essential prerequisite before any attack on Iran. At the moment one man is getting in the way of those war plans.

Here is the dogma mentioned by John Salza in the interview with Cornelia Ferrara. It is this ‘dogma of the faith’ which Our Lady mentioned at Fatima. She said it would be lost. http://youtu.be/fTmsOy-ZLtM
OUTSIDE THE CHURCH THERE IS NO SALVATION
“Outside the Church there is no salvation” (extra ecclesiam nulla salus) is a doctrine of the Catholic Faith that was taught By Jesus Christ to His Apostles, preached by the Fathers, defined by popes and councils and piously believed by the faithful in every age of the Church. Here is how the Popes defined it:
“There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved.” (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)
“We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.” (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull Unam Sanctam, 1302.)
“The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that none of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless before death they are joined with Her; and that so important is the unity of this ecclesiastical body that only those remaining within this unity can profit by the sacraments of the Church unto salvation, and they alone can receive an eternal recompense for their fasts, their almsgivings, their other works of Christian piety and the duties of a Christian soldier. No one, let his almsgiving be as great as it may, no one, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church.” (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441.)
http://catholicism.org/category/outside-the-church-there-is-no-salvation
John Salza refers to Lumen Gentium 8, subsistit it.
Even if a non Catholic is saved outside the visible limits of the Church, this case would not be an exception to the dogma mentioned above.Since this case would not be known to us in 2014.Wewould not know who is this member of the Church. It would be known only to God.
So every one needs to formally enter the Church as mentioned in the dogma text :There cannot be any known exception.Since those who are in Heaven other than the baptism of water ( if it is possible) would not be physically visible to us.
In the two videos however,Cornelia and John, do not discuss if the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance is an exception to the dogma quoted above. Is the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance relevant to the dogma? Are these cases exceptions to the literal and traditional interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney? Is LG 16 or LG 8 an exception or relevant to the dogma Cantate Domino, Council of Florence ? Are they exceptions to Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II which says all need faith and baptism for salvation?
Once these questions are dealt with, one can discuss the Catechism of the Catholic Church 1257-1260. Can the Magisterium which John mentioned make a mistake?
In think ‘the dogma of the faith’ was lost in 1949 in Boston in the Fr.Leonard Feeney Case.
I have posted the above comments to info@fatimacenter.org and I hope I will get a reply. I have received no comment from John Vennari or Louie Verrechio.
This is the usual non-sede Trad objection to Vatican II. Let’s take another example – the infallible Bible. The Bible was written in prose, and we know from our faith that it is infallible and inspired. Yet, look at all the people who read all those infallible words and make millions of erroneous conclusions, resulting in tens of thousands of denominations and millions of non-denominationals, that is denominations of one. The Bible text is not defective, rather it is the heart of those who wrongly interpret it, even IF they are sincere. Apply the same principle to Vatican II docs, which of course are only infallible to the degree that they quote prior dogmas, and you get the modernists interpreting it their wrong way. The confusion is compounded by the fact that many WITHIN the Church have used the modernist “spirit of Vatican II” abuse technique. So why don’t you all reject the Bible too since there is so much misinterpretation of it? Learn to distinguish from the text and the ABUSE of the text.
Dear Johnno,
Not that we’re experts on international politics or anything, but you seem so gung-ho on Putin it’s scary. What about all the journalists who criticized him and were found executed KGB style (One bullet in exactly the right spot)?
What about all the newspapers he’s closed down for criticizing him?
What about his divorcing his wife and cavorting around with starlets, building a play-palace on the Black Sea, with government money etc?
Doesn’t it matter that he speaks bold Christian-sounding principles but his actions are contrary to God’s laws?
And the sanctions have nothing to do with his ignoring the sovereignty of the countries formerly “belonging” to the USSR? Gorbachev praised his take-over of Crimea, and fully supports the “people’s voice” choosing to go back to “Mother Russia” despite it tearing apart Ukraine, shocking the many who have flocked to support him in his global efforts to unite all religions for peace.
There are two sides to this story, and the devil may be behind both of them to some degree. But you seem to be trying to paint Putin as the savior, and Russia before Russia has been consecrated.
p.s. to Johnno,
We wonder what you make of this report on “Putin’s poisins by the Heritage Foundation?

Dear Remnant,
We’re admittedly having trouble understanding the point you’re trying to make here, but to answer your question about why faithful Catholics don’t reject the Bible- it’s simple. It’s the inspired word of God, so despite the confusion you point out which is always possible when various people try to interpret any written word, we know with certainty, that the Truth is there.
With the documents of VII being pastoral, and purposely not declared dogmatic, ((except for past dogmas incorporated) and having testimony of council fathers themselves that it was purposely written in ambiguous, compromising language- sometimes with two opposing views side by side in the same paragraph; and knowing they used non-Catholics as advisors,
there is plenty of reason to expect error to be found in it. As Louie mentioned, would we drink a glass of water knowing it only contained a “little” arsenic?
The more you study the Bible prayerfully, with a Catholic perspective and rightly formed conscience, the clearer it’s truths become. The more you study VII, the more clearly it’s confusion stands out.
My intent here is primarily to draw attention to causes of a potential World War. It is undoubtedly the case that the U.S. is antagonizing Russia into a position of conflict where it is trying to provoke Russia to make a move that it will then use to justify a formal declaration of War. Not to mention that it is indeed the United States that is the greatest threat to peace and stability in the world, as we see with their raising of political discord and funding, training and arming ISIS.
–
With regards to stories about Putin, given recent revelations that the U.S. and CIA control most of the European media, there is reason to be sceptical of many such reports, but I personally imagine that there is reason to believe that indeed there is a lot of shady business going on under Putin in Russia, just as there are shady murders and business going on under Obama in America. Neither man/nation is clean in this conflict, however one of them is a lesser evil. Likewise I wouldn’t rule out that the many murders taking place in both nations could be linked to the possibility that these persons were on the payroll of the other. Given recent revelations in Germany and Europe of CIA hired reporters, this only helps to expose the undergoings that are already taking place.
–
There also exists a possibility that much of the conflict that we’re seeing is staged, and that these actions are a result of a global coordination to establish a New World Order. So in other words that the conflict between the U.S. & Russia is an act. And in this play it is by design that America should fall and Russia/China shall rise. All this by design of the true princes of this world.
The report is speculative. Perhaps it’s true, but the American/European media have provided a long history of coordinated defamation campaigns against opponents. So how do we know? Whereas the things I’ve posted above are not speculative, but long evidenced from history and the facts. I’ve no doubt Putin and Russia do in fact deal with a lot of cloak & dagger stuff, but this alone is no different than any other regime or nation, particularly America, from which one could cite many conspiratorial examples, particularly surrounding the cover up of 9/11.

“The issue of manipulation of news by intelligence services has been in the news recently with revelations that the CIA and German Secret Service (GSS) have long-running programs to influence how media executives and top journalists convey and interpret the news, including direct cash payments.
“Here are some examples they point to:
Portraying him [Putin] as a scheming dictator trying to rebuild a repressive empire.
Claiming he personally ordered the murder of a number of journalists, and personally ordered a KGB defector to be murdered with radiation poisoning.

Mis-quoting him on his regret about the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Articles about a supposed super-luxury villa built for him in southern Russia.
The over-the top headlines in the western media (they were worst of all in Germany) portraying him personally responsible for murdering the victims of MH17.
And soft stuff – magazine covers making him look sinister, monstrous, etc.”
With regard to the situation in the Ukraine, look up the so-called Orange and other colour Revolutions. Men like George Soros and others engage in funding movements for the purpose of destabalizing and toppling governments in order to effect regime change. Sometimes this is done militarily. Other times it is done by manipulation at the local level. Always in any case, there needs to be some valid excuse or fabricated one.
–
Part of the facilitating for the collapse of the Soviet Union meant that NATO would agree not to expand into former Soviet Territories as an agreement to put an end to the Cold War. Crimea was originally part of Russia for hundreds of years. It was later placed under the control of the satellite USSR state of the Ukraine as a gift and also an attempt to flood the nation with more ethnic Russians and keep the Ukranian ethnicities under control. With the USSR’s rapid collapse, Crimea remained with the Ukraine. Russia formally even recognized Crimea as belonging to the Ukraine.
–
However, Russia still had its military base by the Black Sea which was strategic for it and via agreement with the Ukraine, Russia would maintain its base there, and the Ukraine would get subsidies on Russian oil. The base remained a contentious issue however for as long as it remained there.
–
America, then seeing an opportunity, or perhaps maybe even being distrustful of Russia’s ‘Perestroika’, broke agreements and continued to expand NATO and slowly surround Russia with ballistic missiles by placing them in former Soviet States who were brought into NATO. Russia was slow to respond and could quite frankly not do anything about it. Finally as we’ve seen, the U.S. likewise tried to bring the Ukraine into NATO, and cut Russia off from the Black Sea. Thus politics in the Ukraine were always under the influence from both American and Russian interests. Thus far Russia would pressure Ukraine to not allow America to advance and provided incentives, which made complete sense for the Ukraine to accept, given they were neighbors, and the Ukraine would gain nothing from NATO membership other than to antagonize their own neighbor and lose incentives to Russian oil and gas given to them by subsidies for maintaining the Crimea base.
–
The U.S. would then fund uprisings and political lobbies to attempt to change the government of the Ukraine by interfering in its democracy using trojan horse democratic groups. This then led to making use of concerns about fraud to create protests that would force the Ukraine to elections. However, the U.S. lost control of the situation, and instead of getting their party in, under the confusion, violent, armed neo-nazis stormed the government, and by coup, took over the Government. These crazed men then began to threaten the ethnic Russians & Jews that were in the Ukraine, and even wanted to ban the use of the Russian language. The United States, trying to salvage their failed take-over of the Ukraine then struck a deal to recognize this neo-nazi coup ‘government’ as the legitimate Ukrainian government so long as they’d attain their objective.
–
However, the ethnic Russia people, who primarily made up the Eastern part of the Ukraine and the entirety of Crimea wanted no part of this. This caused the rift between the Eastern & Western parts of the Ukraine. There were riots, violence and everyone picked sides. The Crimean officials, wanting some order turned to Russia for help. The Russian base was already in the Ukraine, and so Putin answered the call to send those troops out to maintain order and keep Ukrainian troops and bases at bay and maintain peace. The Western Media lied and spun this as a Russian invasion of Crimea.
–
Following these events the Crimean people took a free democratic vote, monitored by the intentional community where they would secede from the Ukraine and go back to Russia where they were originally from not much more than 50 or so years ago. It was either Russia or the U.S.-backed anti-Russia Nazi party in the Ukraine. The U.S. was furious at this possibility and the same U.S. politicians accusing Russia of ‘invading’ Crimea, then called on Russia to use their troops to stop the Crimean elections!!! Crimea voted overwhelmingly to go back to Russia. The U.S., ever the bastion of democracy, refused to recognize the Crimean vote, and continued to insist the coup-d’etat government in the Ukraine was the legitimate authority.
–
Some of the Eastern regions, where you see conflict now, wished to become independent and neither go to the Ukraine nor Russia. This is why they are now labelled ‘Russian Rebels’ (technically true as they are ethnic Russians), and why they are in conflict with the Ukraine who shells them illegally violating international rules of conflict about combat in civilian populated areas hence being war crimes. And the Ukraine even broke every attempt at cease-fires.
–
Not everything was rosy in the Ukraine however as the Nazis even turned on each other and killed one another and even the government now has changed after the man Washington recognized stepped down criticizing both Russia and the U.S.
–
The recent debacle over Flight MH-17 and the American lies to pin it on Russia and hide evidence further goes to show that the U.S. is still engaged in provocation, while calling for sanctions through its NSA black-mailed European vassal states who are caught between a rock and a hard place because they depend on Russia for trade and resources, while it is FED-printed American currency helping keep them afloat through quantitative easing.
–
If Russia really wanted to occupy the Ukraine, they would have simply done as they did in Georgia and as America also does when it wishes to take over a country. It wouldn’t waste time with aiding rebels, but would simply use their navy and airforce to repeatedly bomb the hell out of the Ukranian military & infrastructure before sending in ground troops. It could probably successfully occupy the Ukraine in a few days, if not hours.
–
The U.S. lost its chance at getting Crimea and this is a major set back to its expansion that it cannot get back again. The Ukraine as it is now is worthless to it. But will be brought into the IMF, which will load them money to be paid back at interest forever. This also cost the Ukraine it’s deals for oil and gas with Russia as it could not afford it and was indeed in danger of losing. The U.S. was of no help. Russia only settled a deal just a few days ago to continue to provide it to them when it really didn’t have to.
–
There is no doubt Putin has his own goals for bring Russia back to glory and being a world power. The difference is that he wants stability, and partnerships with Europe, China and surrounding nations. Just going in for no reason and occupying the Ukraine would only antagonize them, which is why Putin even made the unprecedented move of asking the DUMA to rescind his authority to go to war over the Ukraine at the height of the crisis in an effort to show he had no ill military intentions. Anyone who paid attention to the conflict outside of the North American establishment media could follow the story.
–
More could be said and I could clarify anything you’d like if I can. I’ve been following events like this, not because of some pro-Russian bias, but because I am interested in the prophecies of Fatima, and if anything I was inclined to be anti-Russian as we’ve always tended to interpret the Fatima prophecies to see Russia as the unjust aggressor. Recent happenings cause me to rethink this… perhaps it is a sign of the possibility of Russia’s consecration and conversion in the near future? I certainly hope so! Or it could all be an elaborate ruse, in which case we are all being fooled very well.
–
Why I don’t think Russia has any military plans to grow its influence in the world is because strategically it’d make more sense for Putin to sit back and continue to let America fall apart financially and allow people like Obama to further destroy the wealth and reputation of his own country. There would be literally no reason to fire a bullet, much less engage in global turmoil to bring the poorer ex-Soviet states under Russian control and take on their debts and problems. Outside of the Black Sea base there is no incentive for Russia to want the Ukraine back. Putin will do as he’s doing now. Establish partnerships with the BRIC nations and form their own monetary system and banks free from American control and its overprinting of U.S. dollars which is the default reserve currency. These moves are probably why the U.S. is making a desperate attempt to start a war so that when the financial crisis finally breaks it can use a state of emergency to implement totalitarian rule via executive order of the President to seize control of its citizens. Thus bringing to be the prophecy of Sr. Lucia that even the U.S. would one day become Communist.
Remnant is probably speaking rhetorically:
–
The Bible can be misinterpreted, but we do not cast out the Bible.
–
Therefore because VII can be misinterpreted, we should not cast out the council.
–
Of course the difference is that the Bible is authoritative and dogmatic as are other councils and cannot be changed or reformed. VII is pastoral and non-authoritative and being concerned with pastoralism and discipline can be amended.
–
So the only reasonable solution should be that the documents of VII should be amended to clarify the problematic verses, which has always been the job of the Church to make things more precise so as to avoid confusion and division. Then everybody is happy.
–
There is of course the issue of the Mass, and frankly the Church could just make it easy by allowing for both and stop fighting against the Traditional Mass.
–
But we already know why there is resistance to these simple things. Evil men in the Vatican want VII to remain ambiguous so that they may purposely interpret it wrongly, and want to suppress the Traditional Mass so that they can destroy belief and acknowledgement of the Eucharist and Catholic identity by any means possible. They would even destroy the Novus Ordo if they could get away with it so that we’re just a social club. These men do not want the Traditional Mass and they do not even want reverent Novus Ordo masses. Just a meaningless carnival that’s probably arranged by a lay committee, so long as everyone feels good.

Much of this further suggest that current world events and conflicts may be by coordinated design and not accidental. We cannot outright trust either the Americans or the Russians. Though more accurately much is the result of men working behind the scenes. Mankind is more cunning and evil than you might imagine.

John Salza says that there is a heresy which says one can be a part of the soul of the Church without being formally part of its visible body.Yet John Salza and Cornelia Ferrara seem to make the same error.
We know that the dogma says every one needs to be a formal member of the Church for salvation.De facto all need Catholic Faith and the baptism of water for salvation .
So how can a person be joined to the body or soul of the Church in particular cases in 2014 , with the baptism of desire, for it to be relevant to the dogma on salvation?.
How can being saved outside the visible confines of the Church be an exception to the dogma, as taught by the Church Councils, popes, saints and Fr.Leonard Feeney? Yet it is an exception for John Salza and so Vatican Council II is a break with the past.
So if ‘the Church’ says that the baptism of desire is an exception to the dogma then where are these people who belong to the soul or body of the Church in 2014? Where are they? What are their names and surnames?
To imply that the baptism of desire is a known means of salvation is material heresy. The mistake is innocent but it is an irrationality. It would be saying ‘I believe in three or more known baptisms for the forgiveness of sin”(Nicene Creed?).
Tradition only mentions a baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance. It does not say that the baptism of desire cannot be followed by the baptism of water.Neither neither does it state that the baptism of desire , with or without the baptism of water, are explicit for us.We know they are not explicit for us! The text of Vatican Council II also does not state that these cases are explicit.Neither does the text of Vatican Council II state that they are a break with Tradition.John Salza innocently infers this. The mistake is with him.
He mentions God has given us an intellect. How can we intellectually hold that there are people in Heaven, saved with the baptism of desire etc, who are living and known exceptions, in the present times, to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus? How can someone dead be relevant to the interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney? Faith and reason are not in agreement here.
There was a mistake in the Letter of the Holy Office 1949.The error has resulted in a wrong interpretation of Vatican Council II by John Salza, Cornelia Ferrara, John Verrani, Louie Verrecchio etc.

This is the usual non-sede Trad objection to Vatican II.
Lionel:
Yes.
It is also the sede objection to Vatican Council II. A wrong premise is used in the interpretation of Vatican Council II by the CMRI, MHFM etc.
Apply the same principle to Vatican II docs, which of course are only infallible to the degree that they quote prior dogmas, and you get the modernists interpreting it their wrong way.
Lionel:
Since they are using an irrational inference. It can be seen all over these videos.
The confusion is compounded by the fact that many WITHIN the Church have used the modernist “spirit of Vatican II” abuse technique.
Lionel:
Exactly. It is not only the liberals.

Daniele Sebastianelli on the need for proclamation and evangelisation
Daniele Sebastianelli has been a coordinatore of Militia Christi. He has a degree in Communications from the University of Santa Croce.I spoke to him yesterday.
He said that a non Catholic could be saved in another religion and this would be a theoretical case for us. It would only be known to God.He agreed with me. So there are no exceptions in Vatican Council II to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus for him.How could there be when we do not personally know any exception?
There are also no exceptions in 2014 to Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II, he agreed, which says all need faith and baptism for salvation.
Daniele emphasised that a person could be saved in another religion and this would not be through his merits or that of his religion. It would be through Jesus and the Church. He agreed that these cases would be theoretical for us.They are hypothtical. So they would not be defacto exceptions to the traditional interpretation of outside the Church there is no salvation.
For him these cases are not relevant to the dogma which says all need to formally enter the Church ( with faith and baptism-AG 7) for salvation ( to go to Heaven and avoid Hell).
So does every Jew, Muslim and other non Catholic in Rome in 2014 need to formally enter the Church to go to Heaven? He answered “YES”. He said Jesus said that we should go out into the world and proclaim the Good News.Evangelising is important.
Danielle Sebastianell had spoken to a small gathering on the 1700 anniversary of King Constantine at the Milvian Bridge.1 At the Milvian Bridge, Rome he spoke about Constantine’s victory and the apparition in the sky over the Tiber River. He also mentioned the different ways Catholics (Christians) were tortured and exiled. It was after Oct.28,312 A.D he said, that Catholics were free to live their faith without persecution.
For Daniele Sebastianelli the text of Vatican Council II (AG 7) indicates outside the Church there is no salvation.LG 16,LG 8,NA2,UR 3 are not exceptions to AG 7 since they refer to invisible for us cases. An exception would have to exist in our reality and be different to be an exception.
It may be mentioned that the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance are not relevant or an exception to the interpretation of Fr.Leonard Feeney.Invisible for us cases cannot be defacto exceptions. The Holy Office 1949 and the Archbishop of Boston, Cardinal Richard Cushing, made an objective mistake.
Dear Johnno.
Since you contend that we can’t trust media reports on either side, you shouldn’t expect anyone to believe such claims as that the U.S. is behind ISIS, which you used to bolster the contention that Russia is the lesser evil of the two.
And why should anyone then rely on “historical” records as having more weight to them, when those would have been subject to the same types of manipulations as the current ones, just in earlier times than ours?
While we ultimately will have to wait and see about all of that, we can put our trust Our Lady’s words, as reported by Sister Lucia for many years, that Russia was the instrument chosen by God to chastise the world for sin, and will continue to spread her “errors” and will not be “converted” until consecrated to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart by a collegial act of the Church.
Both Our Lady and Our Lord said that will take place “in the end”, but “it will be Late”. And since the Bible also assures us that God will intervene in Human History in the “end” times, to save us from total annihilation, we have at least two reliable sources that tell us these conflicts are inevitable as long as God’s Commandments continue to be broken and ignored.
The “blame” for it all lies there–on all people of all countries who live in sin and do not believe and repent.

Just wondering why Francis wants him there? 🙂
Dear All,
.
I decided to start a blog. (To go along with my twitter account)
.
The main reason was that my postings have become frequent. As in too frequent.
.
Therefore, just like the house guest doesn’t want to overstay his welcome, I will use the blog to post what I think are relevant information.
.
But I will still be actively reading and commenting here. More on topic… I promise.
.
For those who read my daily comments, my new blog is named The Deus ex Machina Blog and is at sarmaticusblog.wordpress.com.
.
Beware, it is still a work in progress.
.
S.A.
Dear S.Armaticus,
“Deus Ex Machina” is now the newest addition on our “faviorites” bar. Nice start. A little help with the “work in progress” for a better first impression:
(re: what DeM “has written” in the Francis article), you might want to remove the extra e in dying and [although he could use a little extra vision] Francis has an extra “i” in the title. (up late finishing, right?) 🙂 Good luck with it all, and thanks for your many contributions here. Don’t forget your pledge to keep em’ coming when you can. God Bless 🙂 🙂
Good luck with your blog, S. Armaticus. It’s a good way for you to compile and catalogue all of the relevant information regarding the Pope and what’s happening in the Church. God bless your work!

“””Since you contend that we can’t trust media reports on either side, you shouldn’t expect anyone to believe such claims as that US. is behind ISIS, which you used to bolster the contention that Russia is the lesser evil of the two.””””
–
On the contrary, we can indeed distinguish, between the article you’ve given which is filled with conjecture, and between a long detailed number of reports from many sources, including the U.S. own State Department and admissions that the strategy they were going for was to fund, train & arm ‘moderate’ rebels who’ll fight on their behalf against a target regime. John McCain even took photographs together with these same men who would later be identified as being leaders amongst ISIS. What Putin discusses along with the other RT report is known history that indeed can be confirmed from many varied sources. If it were lies, the U.S. government and media could easily shoot back and demolish them with the facts and repeat these over the 24 hours news cycle. But they do not. They go into silence and ignore these point because they can’t be spun.
–
“””And why should anyone then rely on “historical” records as having more weight to them, when those would have been subject to the same types of manipulations as the current ones, just in earlier times than ours?”””
–
They are reliable for the same reasons I’ve mentioned above. It is not absolutely true that historical records can be manipulated perfectly. They may be tailored by lies or omission in certain instances like public school textbooks, or from selective writings, and individual pieces of journalism that may be intentionally misleading or poorly researched. But there can always be found opposing sides of the story, and these can be rationally examined. Or else one would have to concede in arguments with the heathen that it’s possible the Bible itself is a forgery and cannot reasonably be defended. In that case, all history is bunk. But that would be silly. I’m open to the possibility that my reading of events may be erroneous, but someone will have to point out where and say why.
–
“””While we ultimately will have to wait and see about all of that, we can put our trust Our Lady’s words, as reported by Sister Lucia for many years, that Russia was the instrument chosen by God to chastise the world for sin, and will continue to spread her “errors” and will not be “converted” until consecrated to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart by a collegial act of the Church.””””

Indeed everything you say is true. Though also subject to interpretation given the vagaries that only Heaven or the 3rd Secret can clarify. Recall that despite that Israel was God’s Chosen people, a type for the Church, that due to its unrighteousness by adopting the “sins & errors” of other nations, God still used other nations as his instrument calling the pagan kings his servants in order to chastise and send Israel and Judah into exile. This is because Israel’s own wickedness exceeded even that of the other nations because they ought to have known better, and as He promised them, if they too fell into the same sin of those who previously occupied the land, God too would spit them out from the land through the same means they took posession of it. So it is entirely possible that Russia is reaching a situation, like those same vessels used by God to punish His people. This doesn’t make Russia perfect or holy, but it does suggest that righteousness falls more on their side of the scales.
–
The errors of Russia have indeed been spreading and continue to be maintained right in Russia itself. For example, despite Putin’s stance on maintaining peace, he still supports the bodies known as the U.N., and the European Union, and seeks to build his own Asian Union, all organizations which are essentially operating the same way under the same model as the Soviet Union did – centralized control being within a group of unelected people overriding the will of sovereign nations. BUT! The PRIMARY ERROR of Russia is religious in nature – being it’s SCHISM from Rome. Even if Russia becomes the most perfect secular nation on Earth, and all its people are faithful Russian Orthodox, this error will forever be what sets Russia apart, which is why CONVERSION of the Nation to the Catholic Faith is the only primary outcome that matters.
–

Mary called the Russians that “poor nation”, as the time for its consecration draws near it would not be impossible to see the hearts of the nation moving towards that direction. When America was beating the war drums to bomb Syria, Pope Francis called for a worldwide day of prayer. God answered his prayer by having Putin and Russia broker a deal for peaceful resolution. This has been a constant pattern that the Russians would rather avoid conflict as much as possible, while the U.S. is eager to start new ones under flimsy pretenses. Perhaps you are American, and my portrayal of the U.S. hurts you. I do not mean this to infer that the American people are any more responsible for the deeds of their government than the poor Russians are of their former Communist leaders. In fact we owe a debt of gratitude to those individual Americans in media, in congress, whistleblowers etc. who have stood up and exposed the truth.
Dear Indignus:
.
Thks for the tips, and corrections made. 🙂
.
And a special thanks for the well wishes. Appreciate it. 🙂
.
As to the long day and night to get the site together, yes it was. And all I did was re-post my comments from the present thread.
.
To be perfectly honest, there is a lot happening. We might be living in a very bad time for the church, but on the other hand, it has never been this easy to get your message out to the general population. The twitter account is amazing. I launched it on Saturday and I already have about 50 followers. Who would have thunk?
.
But the forces of evil have the same capability, therefore a lot of work for us to do. But since the “gates of hell shall not prevail”, all that is left is get to work. 🙂
.
Once again. Thanks for the best wishes.
.
S.A.
Dear Lynda:
.
Thank you for your kind word. Like I mentioned to Indignus, there is a lot happening out there.
.
One thing that is apparent at this early stage is that one can’t cover all of it. And I don’t have the luxury of not working. 🙂 So I will have to refine my focus a bit. But hopefully the blog will turn into a good ‘reference source’ that will eventually document the restoration of the Bride of Christ back to her rightful place in society. 🙂
.
I will give it a good shot, and hope and pray that what I do will be pleasing to Almighty God.
.
Once again, thanks for your kind words.
.

Dear Johnno,
We don’t hold the belief that there is no verifiable evidence for anything, but as you pointed out, there is so much “spin” in reaction to all accusations on either
side these days, and so little hard evidence, that the average person reading things like you wrote, only ends up becoming more frustrated and suspicious of everyone else on the planet. We’ve heard reports similar to yours about Putin funding ISIS for his own purposes. And John McCain in a photo with men who later ended up with ISIS doesn’t prove anything. We trained Bin Laden in Afganistan, to fight against the Russians who were invading at the time. We also put an end to his career after he started his own group against us. That happens when you use or train mercenaries and even with allies- look at Iraq’s army. (By the way, if you’re Russian, no personal offense meant to you)
___
We pointed out reports about the KGB-type hits, to demonstrate that strong counter arguments to yours exist, and you dismissed that. But we’ve read confirmations of many of those murders from reports of international human rights organizations and other individuals over the years, who seem credible to us. As is usual with murders, those who dare to be interviewed –relatives and co-workers –are too afraid to come forward publicly and that leaves investigators long on testimony but light on evidence. What they reported made sense. So does the rationale that Putin has had complete control over the KGB and it’s replacement for many years now. To us, it would be harder to believe he wouln’t make use of it, than to believe he often has, and still does. And since the KGB was “historically” known to use rare, untraceable poisions, it also makes sense these would be the political weapon of choice, while he was concerned about popularity. Uranium is’nt used by you’re average street gang or mafia. We know we’re not likely to change your mind, but we thought it worth giving you a few reason to be more cautious about expressing the level of certainty and support for Putin that you have here. It was worth a try, in the interest of truth.
___
Yes, we’re Americans, and also come from “military” families with a long history of service and experience (ground, sea, and air); in the Middle East, and around the world (most seasoned Vets; some still active duty officers). We don’t think of ourselves as naive about any leaders, but we may be more sensitive than some, about charges of complicity with our enemies, because of what we’ve seen and heard from level-headed people of charachter whom we have reason to trust over many years. Not every accusation against the U.S. that is met with relative silence, is due to it being factual. Occasionally that’s done to protect the lives of those in ongoing covert operations. Also, we’re not saying our government is blameless. Just that Putin is no “angel” and we don’t see him as a Lesser evil.
___
(No sacrcasm intended here, honestly), we’d like to ask what “vagaries or interpretation” you are referring to about the need to Consecrate Russia?
___
Pope John Paul II, admitted he didn’t dog it as requested, by the very words he used to pray for : “those peoples whose consecration you are still awaiting”, without mentioning Russia specifically. He later told a questioner, it can’t be done at this time. No clarification we know of is needed, just obedience from the disobedient hierarchy, who prefer to stonewall and use man-made diplomacy with Russia instead of doing 5 minutes work that could have prevented what’s happening right now and saved millions of lives and unknow numbers of souls. It’d be nice to know the whole third secret, but since we’re living through it now, it’s less of a priority to us than the consecration of Russia. God does make use of everything, including enemies to chastise, we agree. And as the time draws near, Russia could be moving closer to conversion. But reports from Russians say that even the new interest in Orthodoxy is as bogus as the role calls in U.S. Catholic records. That their friends and relatives who claim to be Orthodox believers, don’t even attend Easter services annually. And this is a majority by latest polls, as it is around the world. Of course, that’s reports from media again, which we can’t rely upon.
__ –
“Pope Francis called for prayers for Peace” –again at the Vatican with muslim and jewish leaders, and the last big middle east conflict started up that same week. Sorry, we don’t see the Pope as a good reference these days. And since Putin just rolled in a column of 32 tanks, 16 howitzer artillery systems and trucks carrying ammunition and fighters into eastern Ukraine from Russia, on Friday, aren’t you a bit premature in singing his praises as “peacemaker”?
“The deployment continues of military equipment and Russian mercenaries to the front lines,” spokesman Andriy Lysenko said in a televised briefing referring to Thursday’s cross-border incursion.” Some 4,000 people have been killed in the fighting. The cease fire has been in effect for two months but separatist leaders held elections in violation of the agreement and Russia is determined to “help” these Russian-speaking people. Gorbechev recently praised this, as well as the take over of Crimea, as the people coming home to “Mother Russia” shocking the wester world who thought of him as a man who respected the soverignty of nations.
___
“God answered the Pope’s prayer”??? Don’t think so.
We’re not “hurt” by your attempt to share your ideas. We’re only out to find the truth and tell it like it is. Admittedly it’s not easy when it comes to causes of wars and conflicts. So please don’t take this as riducule of your ideas or research. We see it as a standoff when it comes to proveable facts, and don’t trust the guy in Moscow, who goes around strutting his stuff with his shirt off, for the cameras, and builds himself play-palaces, to be the same peace-loving leader you wish to proclaim him.

Why did Fr.Nicholas Gruner just tell the pope that there is nothing in Vatican Council II to contradict the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus ?
First of all, as Your Holiness well knows, the Church has defined infallibly in one solemn pronouncement after another the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus est—outside the Church there is no salvation. (Cfr. Council of Florence and the Bull Unam Sanctum) Your predecessor Blessed Pius IX, whom you yourself have beatified, warned the faithful in Singulari Quadem that they must not preoccupy themselves with pointless speculation about the possibility of salvation for those who are not formal members of the Catholic Church, since only God knows whom He will save (in some extraordinary manner) from among the great mass of humanity which has not exteriorly professed the Catholic faith. For this reason, Blessed Pius IX exhorted the faithful to hold fast to the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus est and to continue the divinely appointed work of the Church in making disciples of all nations. As for the lot of those who remain outside the visible Church, His Holiness warned that “all further inquiry is unlawful.”
Who can doubt the wisdom of this admonition? Indeed, the Church has constantly and infallibly taught that no one in this world (absent a special private revelation) can know with absolute certainty the subjective state of any soul, much less whether a soul—even one’s own—is numbered among the elect. Since it is not possible for the Church to presume that anyone is either saved or damned, the ministers of the Church are duty bound to seek the conversion of every man, woman and child on the face of the earth, following Our Lord’s own command: “Go forth and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded thee. He who believes and is baptized shall be saved; he who believes not shall be condemned.” (Mark 16;16)
Following this command, the Church has not only taught the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus through the infallible definitions of her extraordinary magisterium, but has also infallibly proposed through the constant teaching of her universal ordinary magisterium the doctrine of the Social Kingship of Christ — that is, the duty of every nation, as well as every man, to profess the Catholic faith and follow the law of Christ the King. As Your Holiness well knows, this teaching is expounded in a marvelous manner in the encyclical Quas Primas, by your predecessor of blessed memory, Pius XI, and is also found in the encyclicals of Saint Pius X (Vehementer Nos), Pius IX (Qunta Cura and the Syllabus of Errors), Leo XIII (Immortale Dei and Libertas Humana), Gregory XVI (Mirari Vos) and others…
Now, if the Vatican’s new orientation, since the Council, does not represent some contradiction to the perennial teaching of the Church on her own mission in this world — then it would have to be shown how this new orientation comports with the prior teaching of the infallible extraordinary and universal ordinary Magisterium. -Fr.Nicholas Gruner
http://www.fatima.org/apostolate/complaint.as
then it would have to be shown how this new orientation comports with the prior teaching of the infallible extraordinary and universal ordinary Magisterium
The ‘new orientation’ uses the irrational inference in the interpretation of Vatican Council II. So the Council is a break with the past.
When the false premise is not used Vatican Council II does not contradict extra ecclesiam nulla salus.
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing dismay you,
All thing pass,
God never changes.
Patience attains all.
He who has God lacks nothing:
God alone suffices.

Thank you, (dziękuję), S Armaticus, for your efforts for the Church and for the salvation of souls.
Great piece. Says it all.
Infowars has had some good material on ISIS and its provenance.
Supurb, Johnno. Echoes my thoughts exactly. I’ve been noticing the parallels between Obama’s administration and the papacy…it’s chilling, right down to the irregular elections.
S. Armaticus, Pope Francis has already had a visit, from Jesus Christ Himself in the flesh. He witnessed a Eucharistic miracle in Buenos Aires in the late 1990s, where the accidents of bread changed into real flesh as identified by academic researchers in a lab in America. He authorized the investigation and the church approved it. Then Cardinal Bergoglio went on to allow sacrilege in his Buenos Aires cathedral in the millenium: a transgender couple received a marital blessing, complete with white dress; their purchased children were baptized, and the same-sex couple received holy communion. Based on this, it is evident that a visit from Ignatius wouldn’t convert His Holiness from his worldly pursuits, since J. C. Himself was unable to do it…at least for now.
Dear Lionel,
So many great references all in one place. Thanks for posting this.
Fr. Gruner sounds a lot like “Lionel” in this one. 🙂 🙂

Do not worry. Say whatever is on your mind. My primary concern is to get at the truth. If it helps you, I was born in India and now reside in Canada. And the Canadian government is only too happy to benefit from what America does while sitting back and letting America do the dirty work for them. Our media is just as bad.

There is indeed a lot of spin going on. But we can know for certain a good many things. One is that we know as fact that just like the NSA has infiltrated a lot of areas, much of the foreign press have been guns for hire for US propaganda purposes, some of them coming forward only recently, and that many stories they have written involve spins on events in the middle East, or with Russia or with concern to unfavourable officials in their own country. It is suspected now in Germany that the NSA has something to do with blackmailing Angela Merkel to sanction Russia when before Germany may have been considering joining the BRICS banking system after the fallout between Germany’s suspicion of America refusing to return its Gold stockpiles held in the Federal Reserve. And the little it did get back was melted down and reforged without the original seal of its country of origin. Many such stories can be cited, but like your article about suspicion of Putin murdering people with depleted uranium, we don’t have much evidence to really know a lot of things, we only know that someone is dead and that someone has been critical of Putin and the method of his death, and that circumstances do suggest the possibility that the reason for his death could be that he was critical of Putin, but there could also be a good many other reasons even if Putin is the killer. So I’ve stuck to those facts from Putin and Gorbachev’s speeches that are known in light of what has actually happened which come down to America’s deliberate actions in history that have led to the consequences we witness today.

With concern to America’s arming and funding of ISIS, indeed the U.S. has a long history of using and radicalising Islamic militants to fight for them by proxy. And there is always inevitably the usual ‘blow-back’ when these same radicalised Muslims turn against them. The most recent and worst case being ISIS. Now, ask yourself, why does America continue to follow this same failed foreign policy by using the same Muslim Brotherhood Cartel, which will inevitably turn on them and the world and cause more troubles? Why does the same pattern happen again and again? Is the American government stupid? Or… are they actually clever, and wish for these outcomes? At some point after such repeated circumstances one must begin questioning the accidental view of history, and entertain the conspiratorial view. We can even see going back in time a suspicious and similar pattern with interest groups, from America and England that were responsible for the funding of Communism, even keeping it afloat while the politicians laboured against it. The public is presented one thing. Behind the scenes, another thing is happening. This can also be extended to the idea that tensions between Russia and the U.S. could in fact be theatre. The build up of perceptions in the public mind for an inevitable world war that has long been planned and agreed upon with everyone getting their pieces of the pie to establish the New World Order by design, while the general public that survives is given the impression of an accidental circumstance that led to it. In any case, sticking with just what we know, Putin, and other commentators are correct. America’s continuous support of Islamic Militants that are enemies or allies whenever it wishes, even making allies with Al Qaeda so long as they are fighting against America’s enemy, shows duplicity in American policy, and the blow-back is what is unsettling the world as a whole, spreading Radical Islam, and massacring and persecuting the Christians in the Middle East. Something Putin has openly decried, whereas the American administration pretends the Christians don’t exist and never speak of it as the anti-Christ genocide that it is. Also it must be asked, who is buying the oil that ISIS is putting out? And why is ISIS’ oil not sanctioned, whereas Russia’s fruits and vegetables are? A good many things can also be pointed out about ISIS which seem exceedingly strange for a group that puts itself up as Islamic…

I did not mean to dismiss the reports about the KGB-hits. I said that they’re possibly true, and that there’s every reason to believe that Russia likewise must by its own will, or forcibly by circumstance, engage in such activities. Which can be pointed to in practically every nation. My concern is with whether Putin is gunning for a World War. Killing individuals to maintain power within ones own nation is not a sign of wanting to go beyond ones borders for a world takeover. Thus far, the only nation engaging in such imperialism with every excuse possible has been the U.S.

When I spoke about ‘vagaries’ in the message of Fatima I only mean that Our Lady did not give us many precise details and thus we are each trying to build our case based on what she has said; for example, she says that Russia will be God’s weapon of chastisement against an evil world; but this can be seen in three different ways:
– 1) Russia is the most evil nation on Earth and thus we are punished through it by virtue of its evil.
– 2) Russia is the least evil nation on Earth, and this is why God chooses it as His arm, for just as he brought Israel to take the Promised Land, He said he did this, not because Israel was good, but because the iniquity of Canaan had reached a level that was inexcusable.
– 3) That Russia, initially being the most evil spread this evil in the past, but today we reach a state where all nations are likewise unto Russia, so God will punish the world using this evil from the same source, not because of Russia’s inherent evil or good, but because it is symbolic.
More interpretations can also be given, but this is all I mean.

I would be interested in any sources you trust that speak of news within Russia with concern to internal Propaganda put out by the Russian government, and any illicit activities it is committing against its own people. It is always hard to get an inside look at what’s going on within Russia itself which is cause for suspicion and a possible sign that Russia cracks down more on internal affairs more so than in the U.S. which thanks to alternative media is still very much free from government control for the time being.

My reference to Pope Francis’ call for a day of peace and Russia’s response was only to highlight that God’s providence is still giving us signs and particularly giving it to the Holy Father that the key to World Peace that Francis wants resides in Russia. Instead of soccer matches, Pope Francis should consecrate Russia, because we know he knows that Russia was never consecrated. Sadly Russia’s consecration and the conversion of the people runs counter to Francis and the false views of ecumenism.

I have already written above about the events in Crimea between #40 & 41. It is not how the Western media portrays it. This much is certain. Neither was Russia responsible for the events in the Ukraine, but American interference in instigating unrest and then recognizing the coup-neo-nazi government that took over the Ukraine and threatened the Eastern Russian states. There was never any ‘invasion’ by Russia of the Ukraine or Crimea. Its troops were always in Crimea at the Black Sea base which was by agreement with the Ukraine in exchange for gas and oil subsidies. When the Crimean people felt threatened, the Crimean officials formally requested Russia’s assistance to keep the peace, ans so this is why Russian troops deployed and set themselves up against Ukrainian military installations within Crimea and at its border.

When the U.S. was trying to bomb Syria over false accusations of chemical weapon use that later turned out to be used by the U.S. backed rebels, sold to them by Saudi Arabia, it was Putin who brokered a deal to have Syria appease the U.S. by handing over its chemical weapon stockpile. The U.S. didn’t get its chance, but continues to attack Syria via proxy through ISIS, and ISIS will likely provide a nice opportunity for the U.S. to find another excuse to intervene in Syria. In this case the U.S. is acting on behalf of the Saudis who don’t want competition from Syria nor want a rival to OPEC, and this also serves as a pretext necessary for already-determined war with Iran. Once again it is the U.S. involved in fanning the flames of a larger world conflict, versus Russia who is trying to maintain stability. Stability of course serves Russia’s own interests, which is trying to establish its own Eurasian Union and which has treaties with Iran. Russia doesn’t have a need for World War. Not when it can sit back and see the U.S. continue to lose as more nations break away from the U.S. Dollar and increasingly turn to the BRICS. Russia can be a world power through finance and trade deals and control of its own banking system without ever firing a bullet. The power is shifting. The U.S. knows it, and this is why you’ve seen both U.S. parties continuing to pass draconian laws, build up a large internal police state and grant increasing power to the President in violation of its own Constitution. Military Force is the only card the U.S. has to play when nobody trusts them monetarily.

Whatever Putin’s corruptions, they are internal, and not with regards to Global War, which is the sword that hangs over our heads with respect to the prophecies of Fatima.
At this point, I consider entirely justified and worthy of consideration:

Armanticus,
I love your blog post http://sarmaticusblog.wordpress.com/2014/11/11/brick-by-brick-some-context/
where you show your true colors, in saying:
“Following the canonically illegal consecration of four bishops by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, Pope John Paul II issued on 2 July 1988 a motu proprio entitled Ecclesia Dei recommending a “wide and generous application of the directives of the 1984 indult.” (copied on Nov 11, 6:32 EDST)
Roman Watcher, I went into the petition and read it but couldn’t see any way to sign it.
Beware of the UN and all other state ans inter-state fora, who wish to kill and sterilise most of us.

Well I am not expert on the interface on that site, either; but when I took a look, there was a signing combox on the upper right side, but you might see different things in a different browser.
Try again, and refresh you browser, and allow cookies, because to prevent double signers, the site probably uses them…
S.Armaticus,
Thanks for the correction. I was really scandalized by it….
