Quick (by necessity) note to readers.
First, I appreciate every reader and commenter here, even the ones who think I’m out of my zealous Catholic mind.
As most of you know, I’ve described myself in the past as a “recovering conservative.” This site is a work in progress. I can barely find time to post to the blog much less tweak the lesser important parts of the site. With so many BIG fish to fry right now, I’ll be honest; I’m having trouble getting worked up over the links.
That said, I do value your input. Post some suggested links below (some of you already have elsewhere, but put them here as well) and I’ll draw from your suggestions to revamp that part of the site some time next week. In the meantime, soldier on!
1) Mundabor – simply the best out there.
2) Eponymous Flower – to know what is happening on the Old Continent and in the geography that is the biggest threat to the Bride of Christ, the Deutschlandosphere.
OMG, forgot to list the SSPX.org at the top. They are really doing God’s work at present. Without them, all of us would be speaking in tongues and handling snakes by now.

A Blog for Dallas Area Catholics (and much, much more!)
http://veneremurcernui.wordpress.com/
I second Mundabor and Eponymous Flower and A Blog for Dallas Area Catholics. Also:
Fr. Ray Blake’s blog
and Boniface’s blog
http://marymagdalen.blogspot.com/
http://unamsanctamcatholicam.blogspot.com/
One I recently have come across: http://www.faithfulanswers.com
A Foretaste of Wisdom – http://foretasteofwisdom.blogspot.com/
audiosancto.org. they also have a youtube channel, video sancto.
You are awesome.
And please don’t link to Mundabor. His attitude doesn’t lend credibility to the “loyal opposition”.
Catholic Blog (updates sporadically) – http://thecatholicfaithful.blogspot.com/
Best Quality Books (Missal and Divine Office) I’ve bought – http://www.baroniuspress.com/
Offers a plethora of locations that offer Latin Mass (updated, but always check Parish’s website) – http://web2.airmail.net/carlsch/EFMass/index.htm
Mundabor is great. I also like “The Thinking Housewife”, a real island of sanity in today’s world, she’s a traditional Catholic but writes mostly about issues not directly related to Catholicism.
Fr. Ray Blake is good enough, but of course all good priests on the internet are limited in what they can say publicly, the problem of working “within the structures” of the new church. All traditionalist priests are basically prohibited from having blogs I believe which is a little sad.
Ars Orandi is great but Mr Werling seldom writes about current topics these days.
Finally Suscipe Domine is the best traditionalist forum, fisheaters having become increasingly strange these last few years.
I admire your site. Mine is above, feel free to link if you like.
The Thinking Housewife is a white separatist and sedevacantist.
I’d like to heartily second the recommendation for Faithful Answers — it features two truly outstanding priests — Fr. Ripperger and Fr. Rodriguez among their fine contributers
.
In addition I’d like to recommend Fr. Ripperger’s site – Sensus Traditionis which also has fine resources:
http://www.sensustraditionis.org/
.
And Auxilium Christianorum – an association that provides prayer for the member priests/exorcists: http://www.auxiliumchristianorum.org/index.html
.
Eponymous Flower – http://eponymousflower.blogspot.com/ – is also a fine suggestion
.
Another is Unam Sanctam Catholicam – it is a fine source of material. It has both a website and a blog.
Unam Sanctam Catholicam Website: http://www.unamsanctamcatholicam.com/theology/81-theology/403-lie-of-integralism.html
Unam Sanctam Catholicam Blog: http://unamsanctamcatholicam.blogspot.com/
.
Another outstanding blog is Ars Orandi – its focus is on the the beauty of Traditionalism and the owner puts a lot of effort into conveying just that.
http://arsorandi.blogspot.com/
.
As far as SSPX — their site is an excellant news source. To avoid favoritism I’d link a few traditional orders for instance:
SSPX: http://sspx.org/
FSSP: http://www.confraternityofstpeter.org/
Transalpine Redemptorists: http://papastronsay.blogspot.com/
Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest: http://www.institute-christ-king.org/home/
I get what you’re saying about Mundabor but I still like his blog. Guess it’s up to Louie to look it over and see if he wants to link it or not.
Mundabor….hands down. Eponymous Flower is very good too.
http://traditionalcatholicradio.org/TCR/TCR.php Gives two links. The one lower down is for streaming Catholic music and in the upper lefthand corner is a link to the sermons, the Mass, etc that is listed in the body of the page.
http://www.papalencyclicals.net/all.htm is a website that has all the papal encyclicals. For obvious reasons I do not recommend reading any beyond saintly and faithful Pius XII.
http://www.fsspx.org/en/liturgy/the-liturgy/liturgical-calendar/calendar/ Best online Liturgical calendar I’ve found. It’s been a great reminder for feast days and Ember Days.
How about a link to solid information about Fatima? Nobody knows more than Father Gruner who has suffered for decades at the hands of those who lie and would like to bury Our Lady’s message. http://www.fatima.org/
God bless you, Mr. Verrecchio!
Well, I’m just thinking that Louie’s work here could be the start of something very good and productive. Sarcasm and mockery have their place, but in my opinion Mundabor goes way overboard into needless uncharitable provocations. Why alienate so many potential allies with that kind of nastiness? That’s all I have to say. Of course it’s Louie’s decision.

I do agree with you Jeff Culbreath.
Just want to emphasize also, as other dear brethren here have noted, that audio sancto, in addition to Mr, V., is reliably sound. Currently offering , of course, their Advent retreat online upfront on their site.
I *highly* recommend http://www.traditionalcatholicpriest.com – he pulls as few punches as Mundabor but has a more… pastoral approach.

Makes for some interesting reading.
Tradition in Action (traditioninaction.org) is one I highly recommend. They are true Catholics and fearless in the defense of our faith.
These are some of my personal favorites and are probably already known to many others – but are still worthwhile. There are still others but really border on the controversial.

Louie, I think for the most part you will find the thoughts expressed by John Vennari are in harmony with yours.

Another good source is the alternative news source Gloria TV with there news broadcasts and their own print news items from some of the sources listed above. They have over 2000 hits a day just from the News Video alone.
http://www.lifesitenews.com/
LifeSiteNews is a pro-Life website with is also pro-Catholic.
Abortion (and other anti-Life issues) is the “tip of the spear” that the secular forces use to attack the Church. So it is very important to be up to date on pro-Life issues.
I would second Catholic Family News. http://www.cfnews.org/index.html Clear, well reasoned analysis of events and Catholic teaching from a solidly Catholic perspective. The web lay-out is also easy to read. Also ditto to Rorate Caeli.
I’m very sad that Mundabor’s site is getting attacked in this thread. He is one of the few voices who “say’s it like it is”. If we are to all “MAN UP”, and become soldiers of the one true faith, then we have to start acting like it. And talking like we mean it. A charming Italianesque form of expression helps. Nuff said!
PS: If Rorate Caeli links to Mundabor, and they are a lot more “dialogue-ical” (if there is such a word – they shut down their comment box for much milder stuff than appears here) than this site, why shouldn’t Mr. V.?
PSS No one mentioned Michael Voris. Great apostate.
I meant: “No one mentioned Michael Voris. Great apostolate.
Excuse the Freudian slip. It’s my personal battle between Catholicism and modernism that must be coming out. On second thought, it might just be the editing function….. Never mind.
And speaking of the devil….

Please pray for the Franciscans of the Immaculate. There fate will decide our.
“For their freedom and ours.”, St. Michael Archangle, ora pro nobis.
If I may suggest exercising caution, please, in listening to sermons by Fr. Michael Rodriguez. Father praises that which is put forth by Christopher West. It is possible Father is not familiar with West’s errors. Perhaps Father was advised that these writings etc., were good, trusted the adviser, and simply went with it.
If one follows Fr.Rodriguez on this matter, and is led to West, there needs to be placed a red “danger sharp curve ahead” sign, in my opinion. Most particularly for parents of children entering into adolescence.
Here is some lengthy catechesis from SSPX Asia which get to the heart of orthodoxy . It was from these talks that I learned exactly how & why ensoulment can take place in human life created outside of the marital union.

Website is currently being revamped. Should be completed soon.
I second the unamsanctamcatholicam.blogspot.com suggestion. Besides your blog, Louis, USC is the only other one I faithfully read.
The lack of civility of Mundabor would be unbecoming of your blog, Louis. One can and must defend the true faith and tradition with Christian charity.

I have to put a word in for the *Forward Boldly* blog radio site of Christine Niles; and Catholicism.org from the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in New Hampshire, for any Church related issues.

I get a kick out of how many of the people who castigate Mundabor, are also recommending sedevacantist sites. I keep hearing that he doesn’t display ‘Christian Charity’…what a load. He is brilliant and speaks clearly, cogently, with a biting wit (which ISN’T a bad thing!), and (most affrontive to the modern ear) like a man. I daresay that people who carp against him would have a really hard time with Our Lord (the model of Christian Charity) knotting cords and whipping backs, as well as calling calling Pharisees and others hypocrites, foxes, and white-washed tombs.
Someone else mentioned here that Rorate links to him…good for them! Apparently they haven’t been ultra-feminized and cowed by any PC voices.
I love and cringe at times when I read Mundabor- as I do every day! He is great but overdoes it sometimes and sort of fixates on homosexuality. And I do realize that since homosexuality is the Left’s great obsession, that failure to obsess about it is to cede the day. So I am totally at a loss on how to vote for him. Maybe put a an “R” rating on it.
I love Eponymous Flower- but does it not get very strange sometimes?
If you read French (a lot easier than speaking it), LeSalonbeige has a great round up of the news. Sort of like NewAdvent, but not skittish as NA has become under Francis and not putting forth desperate attempts to retranslate Francis.

I just discovered a great site yesterday and it is not in the fray- but one needs other sustenance in the battle. I was trying to ascertain the authenticity of the prayer ascribed to St. Bridget that uses beer imagery to send to the monks of Norcia who welcomed us with true Benedictine hospitality last month, and I found this site that on first visit seems an excellent source for Irish Catholic history and a total reprieve from all the blarney that has taken over in the vacuum created by the near total loss of faith in Eire.

Susan, I’m not going to dive into the muck of Mundabor’s blog for examples, but comparing his conduct to that of Our Lord is beyond absurd. Why don’t you try to imagine men like St. Padre Pio, Bl. John Henry Newman, St. Thomas More, or even Bishop Fellay conducting themselves like Mundabor or approving such conduct. There’s a time and a place to scourge the money-changers – now is the time and this blog is the place – but that doesn’t mean that all manner of vulgarity and abuse is justified or, not unimportantly, *effective* in accomplishing the goal.

Jeff, you are waaaaayy overboard on your description of Mundabor here to the point of detraction (note I won’t go into hyperbole and say calumny), but I do agree that this is not the time or place to get into it…that’s kinda been my point. You’ve made it very clear (3 times) how much you dislike Mundabor….got it. How ’bout we make our suggestions to Louie and let him decide like the adult he is without tearing into good men who do good work (fully realizing that there are those who are tearing into Louie the same way you tear into Mundabor). Not all will meet with the ‘delicate sensitivities’ of some, but where the Truth is spoken, hearts will be moved. Let Louie decide.
And while I’m at it, here’s another one that might make heads explode (and more’s the pity for that)… http://www.barnhardt.biz/
Now if you can refrain from displaying your brand Christian Charity by ripping her a new orafice, how ’bout we let Louie visit and decide.
And Louie….if this doesn’t give you some idea of the can-of-worms you open when asking for suggestions on whom to link to (or any other aspect of running your blog), nothing will. You will never meet the sensibilities of this or any other crowd, and you will ALWAYS have people who whine about your decisions. Link to whom you wish and ignore the catcalls…you’re a man of sound reason and outstanding sense. Visit all of them and decide for yourself, without putting too much weight on individual critique given in the com box. God bless.
I’m surprised nobody mentioned the premier site that has relentlessly exposed and denounced the modernist heresy emanating out of the Vatican for + 10 years! What blog could that be other than the very well known:
http://www.novusordowatch.org
I offer my negative opinion of mundabor’s site (and I have nothing against his alleged wit and/or humour) – but to me he has ZERO credibility since the announcement of JP II’s and John XXIII’s upcoming “canonization” when he offered such banal comment as saying that if the “church” “declared” Bugnini “a saint” he would happily go along. Anybody remember this comment my dear fellow readers?
http://mundabor.wordpress.com/2013/07/05/the-canonisation-of-v-ii/
Surely we wouldn’t want Louis’ wonderful site to be tainted with a blog whose author can utter such sheer banality?
I also offer a suggestion to include a WONDERFUL site in Spanish (although the site is I’m pretty sure from Mexico):
http://eccechristianus.wordpress.com/
Adding the site by Sandro Magister seems like it could attract some readers from the Old World.
You know, Jeff, Louie himself can be plenty sarcastic – and hilariously at that.
As far as a little ‘incivility’ goes, go and read Louie’s blog write-up on pew-hoggers. I think the mnemonic device he uses is BITCH?
And as far as St. Thomas More goes, you obviously have never read his writings on Luther and his followers. I litterally cannot repeat some of the statements here.
I, for my part, see little difference in style between Mundabor and Louie himself.
That’s precisely why I read both.
Good stuff.
L.O.V.E. Mundabor…love him, love him, love him. He is the antidote to the emo, feminized, p.c., ‘let’s not call truth truth” filth that I have swallowed these past decades. It is utterly refreshing as a woman to read a man speaking like a man. And not some potty mouth, immature, crass one…but a bold, call it like it is, hold their feet to the fire MAN. At the heart of charity is truth. And when you are dealing with the demonic in this world, you need to call their ugliness what it is…and that calls for some non-pc words. I cannot recommend his site more. And wow, this post….what a resource for traditional sites! It’s like I’ve discovered treasure glittering everywhere. God bless you Louie!
Mundabor says it as it is…..he does not sugar-coat.
TRUTH……is worth fighting for, even when most do not like you. Remnant ‘only’ loves Truth. The rest belongs to the ‘church of nice’……
“Because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of My mouth.” Apoc. 3:16………Our Lord is very clear on that!
Viva Cristo Rey!
To: Susan from post at 12/12 6:18 P.M.
Thank you for sharing the link to Ann Barnhardt ! Her clarity of thinking and grasp of “the state of affairs” in the world and church are biting and refreshing. Very much reminds me of Mundabor’s wit and fearlessness in speaking the truth. She takes it 10 steps further, and is “living the dream.” We live in times that have long been prophesied, and are coming to fulfillment rapidly…Come Lord Jesus! Thanks again for sharing. Time for all of us, men and women to “gird our loins” (whatever that means, but sounds good) and stand tall for the battle(s) ahead!
Go Bless!
and God Bless
Steve…yo rock! (and you rock! :)) Ann is indeed a force of God.
Leo…thanks for the info on St. Thomas More’s writing; I Bing’d a quote on Luther and WOW!…not a TRACE of a girlie-man there! My (already healthy) love and respect for him have trebled! Yes indeed, Jeff, I can most certainly imagine a Saint speaking as Mundabor. (btw…did you know that St. Nicholas punched Arius right in the pie-hole?…just sayin’ :))
Halina and MMC…ditto! It is awesome to find fellow female travelers who love and appreciate a man sounding and writing like a man. If either of you are in the DC area we have got to get together for coffee…but not at starbucks (!) 🙂
Spiritual direction talks by the priest who served as chaplain of the Latin Mass Community in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 2001 – 2012: http://fathermyers.wordpress.com
Mundabor reminds me of the Cristero General Victoriano Ramirez. He was a good man to have on your side in a firefight. His bold attacks on the enemy were thrilling, and his lack of scruples came in handy at times, but ultimately he was a liability and was executed by the Cristeros themselves.
yes….I can see you would take great joy in pulling the trigger yourself Jeff…good scruples and all that.
Just remember, Jeff, all the Cristeros themselves were ultimately considered a liability – and thrown under the bus – by none other than Pope Pius XI.
Obviously, we all have our blind spots and can practice pretty poor judgement at times.
But you’re in good company with the late Pontiff.
But Leo, that is beside the point. The analogy is that of a determined resistance group (e.g., the 1920s Cristeros, today’s orthodox Catholics) needing to rein in its loose canons for the sake of victory, not to mention its own principles.
I wouldn’t consider Mundabor a loose cannon. If he goes off the rails, I will be the first to call him on it. If he calls someone with same sex attraction who is attempting to live chastely, fighting the good fight of faith a derogatory name then I will admonish him. If he attacks a faithful Catholic, I will call him out on it too. And if he refuses to repent, I will no longer frequent his blog and pray for him. But until then, he will remain a stalwart, piercing bulwark for truth in this age of insanity and emotional addiction.
Susan and Halina- good to find company:+) I don’t live near D.C…am mostly in South Florida or in Philadelphia PA for the moment. God bless~
Per Fr. Michael Rodriguez. I honestly don’t think he realizes that he is supporting any errors from Christopher West. You cannot find a more honest, saint like priest out there…he rocks. And I heartily recommend the St. Vincent Ferrer Foundation that was noted here svfonline.org has tons of resources for the Traditional faith. Classes, retreats, pilgrimages, talks, and tons more.
I also second many of the blogs above especially Dallas Area Catholics, Traditional Priest, and CMTV of course. Thankfully you have an abundant list to choose from Louie! God has provided a great harvest for us all. God bless~
This was not an easy decision, but, faithful Catholics are able to discern. At least 2 years ago, I have received talks of Ann Barnhard, to make the long story short I had doubts in my heart. She is like a fire-ball……too much for me. So, I consulted regarding my doubts with a very dear friend, true son of the holy Church. Please, read this short version of much longer comment, and, by all means listen to her yourself, and then decide.
These are not my words, if you do not like this comment, and grind your teeth………do not look at my direction, I just pass this information in charity………too many good faithful Catholics have been deceived, please judge for yourself.
………….”Yes, I know Ann Barnhard. She is, in my opinion, a very unstable, fanatical, unbalanced and therefore dangerous individual who, because of her tremendous energy and intelligence, is leading many Catholics astray with her ultra-extreme version of Catholicism. I do not think she has courage but is rather utterly insane.”
Let us offer our differences into the hands of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
……..Hail, O Virgin of Guadalupe, Empress of America! Keep under your powerful patronage the purity and integrity of Our Holy Faith on the entire American continent. Amen.
I also recommend theradtrad.blogspot.com
He has a slightly different perspective on matters that can be very refreshing in these times.
Halina, whoever wrote this….
”Yes, I know Ann Barnhard. She is, in my opinion, a very unstable, fanatical, unbalanced and therefore dangerous individual who, because of her tremendous energy and intelligence, is leading many Catholics astray with her ultra-extreme version of Catholicism. I do not think she has courage but is rather utterly insane.”
…has gone over the edge into calumny. It is an ad hominen attack and wildly unfair. Of course maybe her zeal is a bit much, after all Jesus did remind us “to not be a ball of fire, but be lukewarm in all things”.
I would dare to bet that she has led more people into the Church through her little blog than the average am-church bishop has in his ‘career’. Visit her blog and read two or three of the “the one about”‘s, and then tell me how utterly insane she is. Calumny is an ugly thing. Visit a site and like it or leave it, but to pass on such ugly opinions (and that’s all they are) is unseemly….in all charity.
Not entirely beside the point, Jeff.
My point is this: the entire body of orthodox Catholics are considered loose cannons to the current Vatican regime. We are all of us seen to be a corporate entity to be utterly destroyed (as if that were possible).
It matters little whether one may be humble, charitable and deferring.
Look at the FFI for example. One could have the charity of a St. Francis, the zeal of a St. Francis Xavier, and the practical, down to earth common sense of a Francis de Sales.
Yet if such a one is also attached to the Catholic Faith as it was, is, and ever shall be (i.e., traditionalist), then he or she is to be considered a dangerous fanatic to be purged from the new springtime order which was foisted upon the Church at Vatican 2.
So don’t make distinctions as to who may be more able to effect some sort of beneficial change.
It’s not the style which is hated. It’s the substance itself.
Halina, With all due respect, I’m afraid your friend is likely offended by what he hears from Ann Barnhard’s lips, referred to as an “ultra-extreme version of Catholicism,” because it is in such stark contrast with most everything Post Vatican II that has been forced upon us since. Given the attention deficit disorder, 30 second attention span of most “Polyanna Catholics” who embrace Francis as the “Person of the Year” for all the wrong reasons, I would suggest that Ann’s conviction and “fire and brimstone” is precisely what is necessary to break through…..a shocking wake up call!
I must confess (post Vatican II) that the blogs I consistently go first to are Mundabor, Louie, Ann B, and Dallas Catholic. Rorate Caeli is in a class by itself. God bless them all, for the world hates them, but remember who the world hated first.
This site is a work in progress, recorded sermons from Monsignor Raymond Ruscitto, ordained in 1953. More to come

Christain Order. Totally faithful to the Church, pulls no punches, provides information not easy to access, and does it with class.

The Eye-Witness. Digs up important information generally not found elsewhere.

Two little-known archives of now-defunct periodicals that contain very important background information: Apropos Archive and Approaches Archive.
http://www.apropos.org.uk/aproposarchive.htm
http://www.apropos.org.uk/approachesarchive.htm
In particular there are two articles in the Apropos Archive which are obligatory reading for anyone wishing to understand key aspects of the mess we are now in, both in the world and in the Church; and most importantly, what to do about it.
1. Genesis of the Cultural Revolution – The Frankfurt School by Arnaud de
Lassus. This article goes a long way to help anyone interested to ‘connect the dots’. The correlation between radical changes in society and radical changes in the Church at almost the same time is simply uncanny.
2. The Preliminary Battle – Strategy for Restoration by Jean VaquiĂ©. This article is an excellent antidote for the despondency and paralysis many Catholics experience and which is born of fear and confusion. The author sets forth his strategic plan convincingly and with great clarity. He provides hope and reasons to engage in battle.
BTW I give my thumbs-up to Mundabor and Ann Barnhardt. True, not for the faint-hearted,
too hot to handle for some, but martyr-material nevertheless. And the time for martyrs is
well-nigh upon us.
Correction to my previous post. The Apropos periodical has ceased print publication but is still on-line.
What we are fighting.

I think the Bones blog is very good Mr. Verrecchio – a truly Catholic soul with a lovely English sense of humour. http://thatthebonesyouhavecrushedmaythrill.blogspot.it/
I really like Mundabor too. He sometimes goes over the top about homosexuals – he could say the same thing without calling them horrid names all the time. He is an astute, well-informed Catholic man, with a great sense of humour too. We really need that Catholic light-heartedness with all the evil true Catholic have to battle everyday now….
Thank you for this place Mr. V:
Prayers are assured,
Barbara
http://japotillor.blogspot.com, my blog has commentaries not too far different from yours, I’m also writing from an Eastern Catholic Perspective.
Mr Verrechio,
I am very much disappointed to see that my suggestion for a link (novusordowatch.org) has been shamelessly censored from your site. Obviously, you own your site and you are at free will to censor comments you deem inappropriate, but the fact that you deleted a comment that contained nothing offensive or insulting to anyone is beyond my imagination. Reading some of the comments with link suggestions, it appears some people have suggested sedevacantist sites and yet their comments were not deleted. Perhaps it is my strong persuasive comments on the apostasy of Bergoglio that have prompted you to cull me from your site? If I have said something against the teaching and tradition of the church, should you not have corrected me in charity? But of course you could do no such thing as I have said not a single word against the teaching of the church. I naively believed you to be an open minded person, but I realize now you are stuck in the same mind-set as most other neo-trads, refusing to even consider the POSSIBILITY that Jorge Mario Bergoglio is an apostate and that the see is therefore vacant. For, I imagine that you will agree at least on this point, that a public contumacious heretic cannot hold the office of Peter since he is outside the fold of Christ, as per the teaching of St Robert Bellarmine, St Alphonsus Maria de Liguori and many other holy theologians. The longer Catholics such as yourself persist in this error, the longer the crisis in the church will continue. I will pray that Christ will grant you the grace (and you will be open to His grace) to enable you to see clearly the situation that the Church is faced with.
Sincerely in Mary Immaculate and Christ the King

I assume that it is you, Mr. DeLano. Kudos on all of your diligent work on behalf of Holy Mother Church
Thanks to all of you very much!
NOTE: I just came to realize thanks to an email from a kind reader that a number of comments were stuck in the queue awaiting approval. My anti-spam program doesn’t immediately publish comments with multiple links. All of them should be here now.
Sorry if the blog title is too inflammatory for some, but this is a good site for news that one might not otherwise see in one place, that does in fact correlate prophetically with the times we are living in.

I do not want to enter into a controversy about other sites but I do want to write that Mr. Culbreath has a well-deserved reputation as a thoughtful traditionalist and his words are worth serious consideration.
For the record… Mark’s impassioned post from earlier today is appreciated, but he assumed incorrectly. I don’t censor comments here. We’re all big boys and girls here and can police ourselves just fine as far as I can tell. Mark’s post suggesting novusordowatch was one of the ones I referred to above, awaiting moderation along with at least half a dozen others (assuming he commented under the name Edu since I have no others in the queue at the moment.) It’s here (on Dec 12). I emailed Mark directly, but can’t be sure I have a good email address so I’m posting this here as well. Thanks again everyone.
How’s this for an idea. In the spirit of dialogue (a good thing as far as VII is concerned, yes?), why not have a policy where ALL types of true Faithful, (irrespective of their views pertaining to a certain South American prelate from the Ionnian/Pauline line), exchange ideas in a charitable and thoughtful manner. Imagine if the Faithful had a “come to Jesus” moment, brought about by a flashback from the past, say the recollection of a stirring rendition of Kumbaya at a Polka mass. Ugh… And this above mentioned experience led these same Faithful to accept that even thought different people might have a different take on the above mentioned South American prelate, at the end of the day, they are all, as the English would say, “in the same shi’a”.
I know, I’m asking for a miracle.
Our Lady of Miracles, ora pro nobis.
I want to second Fr. A in his recommendation of “Unam Sanctum Catholicam” http://unamsanctamcatholicam.blogspot.com/ Very sound and well reasoned articles. There is another blog with an odd name but is sound and substantive. It is Kitchner Waterloo Traditional Catholic http://kwtraditionalcatholic.blogspot.com/
I would not recommend The Mad Monarch. Some of the photos of women on his site are not edifying to say the least. He also follows a website called Shades of Gray which contains salacious material, and SoG in turn has first on its list of recommendations a site which goes well beyond salacious. Be warned!

Mar,
Did you mean this website? http://madmonarchist.blogspot.com/2013/12/what-pope-said.html#comment-form
I looked at it again and I don’t see the link you mentioned.
Thinking Housewife is a sedevacantist. She also pines for the “good old days” of segregation.
Siobhan,
Are you playing dumb? No, I don’t mean the website about the Pope, I mean the one you posted previously. From there I found all the links to the sites I mentioned above – open your eyes and read carefully!
No, Mar, I’m not “playing dumb.” I just asked for clarification. That’s all.
All right, then, Siobhan, but, hey, you were the one who posted the website :). I thought you might have done some research on the blogger. If not, maybe you should do so now. It’s a good idea to get as much background information about a blogger as possible; one way that helps doing so is to check out which blogs they follow. Same as when on Twitter, looking up who someone is following gives you a pretty good idea what they are on about.
I looked at Mad Monarchist and I didn’t see anything about Shades of Gray either.
daisy, I found what Mar was talking about. If you go to About this Weblog at the top and then go the right column and see About Me and click Mad Monarchist, you’ll see the links and one of them is Shades of Gray. Sorry Mr. V!
I think you will find my blog very wholesome:
