I recently had the pleasure of joining Theo Howard on his Vendée Radio YouTube podcast to discuss the so-called “traditionalist” movement. I invite you to watch our exchange below.
For those unfamiliar with his work, Theo Howard is a contributing editor for OnePeterFive whose articles have been published by various tradition-leaning publications over the years. Based on this brief bio alone, it’s already rather obvious to regular readers of this space that he and I approach the current ecclesial crisis from different angles, which is one of things that, hopefully, made our discussion interesting and, God willing, fruitful.
This experience reminded me of the three-part exchange I was privileged to have in May of last year with Dr. Brain McCall of Catholic Family News, moderated by Fr. José Miguel Marqués Campo, which likewise demonstrated that civil dialogue between sincere Catholics with very different opinions is not only possible, but also potentially edifying.
You may watch the video here, of course, but please visit the Vendée Radio YouTube channel to leave commentary as you may wish, including gratitude to Theo Howard for his hospitality.
NOTE: I’ve scanned through the comments such as they exist as of this writing. In a future post, I will address some of the more noteworthy points raised by our viewers. At this, with no further ado…
