I want to offer a note of thanks to readers of this blog, and especially those who take the time to comment.
One of my concerns in opening up these posts for commentary is that I could very easily give in to the temptation to reply to each one. As it is, I will reply to comments when I can, but for the most part I probably won’t have as much time to reply as I’d like.
Even so, please know that I read every single one of them, and what’s more, I appreciate them very much, regardless of whether or not they agree with my own. Your comments give me ideas for future topics as well, so, keep ’em coming!
Secondly, I want to encourage you to invite others to jump on board and join the conversation.
I’m not real fixated on tracking web statistics for this site, but ever since I made a conscious decision to blog more frequently and to allow comments, I’ve paid closer attention, mainly just to get a sense for whether or not doing so is a good way to connect with people.
As August comes to a close, I can report that readership of this blog has grown well beyond what I expected, having quadrupled since May.
What does that mean?
One thing I know it doesn’t mean is that I have all the answers. What I do think it may mean is that there are people out there who, like me, think this blog is part of a conversation that we need to have.
In any event, thanks for being involved. I truly appreciate it.
Thank you for the blog :).
