Earlier today, Francis addressed the Conference of Rectors of German Language Seminaries, gathered in Rome.
The conference is taking place in the shadow of comments made by Cardinal Reinhard Marx, President of the German Bishops’ Conference, suggesting the possibility of blessing homosexual unions.
Those unfamiliar with this story would do well to read Maike Hickson, whose English language reporting on the activities of the Church in Germany is unparalleled.
As most readers likely recall, in a recent interview, Cardinal Marx said:
This [decision to confer a blessing on homosexual couples] I really must leave up to the local pastor and the accompaniment of that person.
He went on to say that there cannot be “any general rules” on the matter.
Sound familiar?
In the opening paragraphs of his Love Letter to Lucifer (otherwise known as Amoris Laetitia), Francis criticized “an attitude that would solve everything by applying general rules or deriving undue conclusions from particular theological considerations.” (cf AL 2)
He would go on to encourage “pastoral discernment of particular cases,” saying:
If we consider the immense variety of concrete situations such as those I have mentioned, it is understandable that neither the Synod nor this Exhortation could be expected to provide a new set of general rules, canonical in nature and applicable to all cases. (AL 300)
As readers are now well aware, the kinds of conclusions (general rules) that Francis had in mind are those drawn from such “theological considerations” as mortal sin deprives the soul of sanctifying grace and is never willed by God.
There’s a reason Cardinal Marx is firmly entrenched in Francis’ inner circle; they are cut from the same unholy cloth.
Yes, but Amoris Laetitia is focused on ‘accompanying’ men and women who are in relationships involving adultery and fornication.
Let us not forget that the Bergoglian Exhortation from Hell also states:
Those who manifest a homosexual orientation can receive the assistance they need to understand and fully carry out God’s will in their lives. (AL 250)
The specific kind of “assistance” in this case is not spelled out in Amoris Laetitia, but let’s not be naïve.
With respect to those actively engaged in “concrete situations” involving adultery and fornication, Francis plainly states, and has since confirmed (e.g., his endorsement of the Buenos Aires guidelines now incorporated in the AAS):
In certain cases, this can include the help of the sacraments. (cf AL, infamous footnote 351)
With all of this in mind, there is no reason whatsoever to imagine that Francis, or anyone in the Curia who wishes to remain in is good graces, will lift a finger to prevent the blessing of homosexual couples in Germany, or anywhere else for that matter.
In fact, given his comments to the German speaking rectors, I would say that all signs indicate that Francis actively supports the idea.
Speaking to the men who bear the primary responsibility of forming Germany’s future “local pastors,” the same who must, according to Cardinal Marx, decide whether or not to bless homosexual unions, Francis said:
We must recognize that new and different cultural forms are emerging that do not fit into our known models. We must strip some habits we are attached to and engage with what is still unknown.
What is still unknown…
Bear well in mind that Francis’ address comes on the heels of news that the German bishops have set up an internal commission to engage with the topic of blessing homosexual unions.
And who can be surprised?
For modernists like Francis & Co., damn near everything is still unknown, open to investigation, and a candidate for so-called reform!
As reported by Maike Hickson (citing an article by Marco Tossati), Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, who was anointed by Francis as the go-to interpreter of Amoris Laeitita, recently commented on same-sex unions, saying:
The question of ‘marriage for all’ poses some challenges for us as a Church, to which we do not have certain answers. We ought to find accurate answers to these questions, which concern the dignity and salvation of the interested souls.
Yes, you read that correctly. One of Francis’ chosen mouthpieces has declared that the Church isn’t quite certain about marriage between persons of the same sex.
In conclusion, while most likely found nothing especially noteworthy in today’s address to the rectors of the German-speaking seminaries, those who are paying attention will not fail to recognize that Francis has just signaled that he is all-in with the idea of blessing homosexual unions.

The new and different cultural forms refers to transgenders. For some the transgendering was begun in utero. For some it was begun pre puberty.
Some were castrated before puberty. Some didn’t really have any choice.
Some of these transgenders are not easily recognized as such except by a trained eye. For the most part, they conform to the physical appearance of the gender that has been selected for them, or that they aspire to. Some have been raised as their opposite gender for their entire lives. Are these people to be considered “gay” if they were flooded with the hormones of their opposite gender, and surgically given the genitalia of their opposite gender, and then they are attracted to what is actually their same sex, but not really? It’s all completely Satanic and crazy, but I’m confident that that is what they are referring to.

Cases where this happened were brought about by intermarriage and mothers who continued taking birth control pills throughout the first trimester. No, we knew it was coming, what took it so long. PF has made it clear he supports homosexual couples, he’s sent that message many times in a most obvious way. Only the daft or willfully ignorant do not see it with all clarity. I almost cannot comprehend a Communist, diabolical action that person would NOT support, someday, probably not too soon, gay married priests. I admit, when the day comes that he champions open pederasty, he will be sending the barometer off the charts, and that day will come. For these people, there is nothing evil enough. They seem to enjoy giving us a good poke in the eye, and of course they enjoy sin for it’s own sake. Give that one a few years though, and it will come via support for lowering the age of sexual consent. So easy.

Shortly after she quit her job she was in a car accident. I visited her several times in the hospital. She told me about a young man in a light blue suit who comforted her until the ambulance arrived. She insisted several times that the policeman who accompanied her in the ambulance to the hospital ,get the man’s name and address so that she might send him a gift of thanks.
The policeman finally told her there was no man when they arrived and that they were the first on the scene. I asked her if it made sense that a young man on his way to work in November in NJ would be sporting a light blue suit. She insisted he was real , remembering their entire conversation .
In the hospital several Extra Ordinary Lay Ministers popped their heads in asking if anyone was Catholic in the room. She refused them until one afternoon a fully vested older priest asked the same question. “i used to be Catholic”, she replied, but he entered the room anyway.she told him her story and for whom she was employed and asked the kind old priest to hear her Confession……”I just did” he said and added ,”My dear lady YOU did NOT leave the Catholic Church, the Catholic church left you.”. He gave her Extreme Unction and left asking her to not reveal his name because “They” will stop me from visiting the hospitals.
SHE is a Traditional Catholic and there are many of them in Nursing Homes and Assisted Livings ,some are even elderly nuns. They all know the Catholic Church has left them and I can testify to that after visiting these facilities as a Nurse.
They begged for priests to visit and I watched as the pastoral advisor on my team called and called rectories begging for priests to visit those who wanted them….
He was a Catholic and was also very frustrated .
Since the Catholic Church is based on Tradition and Scripture we have to acknowledge that something very evil infiltrated our church.
Too many older Catholics have been and are suffering this loss.

I know this is probably going to come as a total shock to you sweep, as it was to me. Almost every single A list Hollywood actress is a male to female transgender. Most of the “women” on television reading the news or starring in tv shows are actually transgender males. Many people in elected office are transgender. A very large number of the rich and famous are transgender, as are their children. It has been going on for several generations. Now, virtually all of the “women” in the Olympics are actually men. There are many female to male transgenders also, but they are a little bet harder to spot. There is lots of information about this on You Tube, information about how you can tell the difference. Once you see it, you can never unsee it again.

Sweep, what you have written is so sadly true! Let me add a comment about how PF is totally confusing the young!! I teach theology in a Catholic university, which is middle of the road in terms of the spectrum from liberal to conservative. Most of the students there who are Catholic were never properly catechized and simply do not know the Faith. When you teach it to them – in all the beauty and truth that it holds – many of them begin to see what they missed – thanks to Our Lady’s Help – and the Truth begins to set them truly free from all the personal ruin they have already experienced, growing up in such a sick culture as ours in the USA for young people. Now, here’s the new fly in the ointment. The shenanigans and continual comments of PF with regards to both same-sex unions and artificial contraception, invariably, become an item of discussion — and a point of great confusion for my students. Not surprisingly! His comments put all the moral teachings of the Church regarding fornication [the big issue for the young today] and mortal sin into doubt. All I can do in the midst of this present confusion is continue to confirm what the Church STILL does teach on these issues & why — while wondering to myself just how much longer I can really say that – before it is no longer the reality under PF! What can we say to the young when the one who is supposed to be the Vicar of Christ “officially” sanctions his new paradigm for marriage – in regards to homosexual unions, contraception, adultery, and who knows what else. My hope is that at that point, we will move into a formal schism – the true pope will flee Rome – and we will be living the reality of the vision of the 3rd Secret of Fatima. I agree, Tom. “Vatican 2 and continuity” is a mirage. You and I already know that and live accordingly daily. However, many in the Church do not — and there is great confusion everywhere. Many souls are being lost! We must be concerned for them! I pray for a clear point of demarcation to become publicly manifest to everyone — and not just to those of us who communicate with each other on traditional blogs or attend traditional Masses/parishes. I am actually praying for a formal, public declaration of heretical teaching on the part of Francis — beyond this slippery, nuanced, new paradigm, modernist “double speak” that is going on – from him and his minions. I was in Catholic Grade school during Vatican Two .Our pastor taught our Religion class in 7th and 8th Grade. He followed what was happening in Rome and happily told us they were not longer teaching seminarians the Rite of Exorcism because they know evil is in the heart of man and their is no entities such as Lucifer or Satan. I asked him how they will believe in God if they do not believe in Satan? He was dumbfounded and even called my mother at home to ask what I was reading that evening.

Dear Dr. Maria–It was my hope and prayer that Bishop Fellay, SSPX, would make a formal, public declaration of heretical teaching on the part of Francis, without using Modernist “double speak” and simply declare that Francis is a heretic. It may not have been a binding declaration, but it would have served perhaps a greater purpose to let the world know that the SSPX has not lost its mission. I no longer have that hope, but that doesn’t mean we should not pray for this.

White seems simply unsure of what the parameters of infallibility are, and I don’t fault her for not claiming to be an authority on a subject as abstruse as that. (I couldn’t give you a clear answer on that one.) As for Hilary White’s wanting to “keep Francis as the Pope”…I’d bet she’d love to show Frankie the door! Ok, just kidding, I know what you meant…I believe that White is unsure, as many of us are, about the theories out there: did Benedict validly resign? Was the fix’s being in for Francis nullify his being made Pope? Have all the manifestly non-Catholic statements and actions of Pope Francis risen to the level of objective heresy? Would objectively heretical statements and actions automatically make a legitimate Pope no longer the Pope? I believe it is alright for an orthodox Catholic to respond to all of these questions with, “I don’t know.” In the meantime, as Hilary White responds — I believe – “I don’t know” – to these questions, she is tracking the despicable moves of Pope Francis, and fighting for the faith. For that, I am deeply grateful to her. Let’s not eat our own.

i have listened to many Catholics who tell me they are hanging on with their finger tips. Any solid teachings from priests who lived during historical suppression of the Faith are a welcome comfort, especially in the Scriptures and from the Early Church Fathers.

God’s servant first, I don’t know the answer to your question. I was just explaining that I don’t think Hilary White claims to know the answer, either, yet that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have anything valuable to offer. In these insane times in the Church, we orthodox Catholics don’t have to demand that everyone on the side of the true faith claim to know and understand everything. We need only insist we all stick up for the eternal, essential truths.
Dr Maria, I, too, hope for the “Fork in the Road”. I think perhaps the delay is because God knows the change will have to be obvious and dramatic. I support the SSPX, but believe it is going to have to be more than just the SSPX’s declaring Francis a heretic and finally breaking off. As you wrote, it is going to have to take the real Pope’s fleeing Rome — and doing so in such a way as to capture the attention of more than just those of us who read AKACatholic. I can tell you there are many faithful Catholics born after VaticanII who are baffled and scandalized by Pope Francis, but for whom Catholicism without a Pope is nearly unthinkable. If the breach does not come about dramatically, they will not know to take the fork in the road, or they will not be able to; they will simply suffer under bad Popes. So, let’s pray the lord resolves this in a way that is clear to as many good Catholics as possible.

There are Catholics who fought hard and even came up against Bishops in order to do what is right . Obviously you haven’t because in so many of these cases these people were ostracized by their very own Bishops .By hat i mean they were blackballed such as the woman in Wisconsin who attempted to alert Bishop, now Cardinal Burke that he had just given permission to a transgendered man to start an Order of Religious women. She then wrote to the nuncio who sent the letter back to Burke and found she was a personal non grata in all the Diocesan parishes. I know of a woman in PA who was the Housekeeper for the rectory for many years and alerted the parents of parish boys that the priest was filming their sons in the basement with adult male porn actors under the guise of a wrestling charity. look up Fr Davidovich. utahagen-I am surrounded by diocesan churches all of which I have attended for the purpose of going through the motions to convince myself that I am Catholic. Each one is in a contest on how novel they could be using every device to entertain the congregation. Which one should I go to? The guitar playing singing priest? The “dancing girls” mass? The priest who begins each mass asking the congregation to reveal to each other “where is your happy place?” I think you got the idea. Worst of all, communion is distributed the same way as potato chips at a Super Bowl party. Please try to understand that a valid TLM celebrated by a holy priest is a blessing not available to every Catholic on the face of the earth. Should I sit in the pew every Sunday convinced that attending this debacle will fulfill my obligation to Our Lord giving Him the worship due to Him? I have answered this question for myself, trusting that Our Lord and Our Lady will be merciful to those who love our Catholic faith, but cannot find it in the N.O. establishment. sweep–I have a number of family members whose children attend local diocesan “catholic” schools. They are brainwashing institutions for Vatican 2. Academically, it may be possible to get a good education, but spiritually, they are lost. The tuition costs are very high. In addition to the tuition, they most contribute a substantial amount to the local parish in order for the children to be enrolled. That is the result when the good teaching sisters of old were booted out. Their salary was basically room and board. They loved to teach and what we have lost, will never return. At no time did I voice any opinion about the efficacy of what would be called gender reassignment. You first imply that only those who have been maimed are candidates for transgendering. Then you state you knew a transgendered male in the mid-nineties. Well, I know this was being done in the mid-eighties, more than 30 years ago.
If you recall, there are so many transgenders today that the federal government is attempting to write laws governing their rights. A 2014 report by UCLA Law School’s Williams Institute on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Law and Public Policy. (The Human Rights Campaign and the National Center for Transgender Equality pointed us to the same study) estimated that 15,500 transgender individuals were serving on active duty or in the Guard or Reserve forces. That was 4 years ago.
For simply pointing out the obvious, that transgendering is almost certainly what the Pope is referring to as “new and different cultural forms,” you have consistently been making comments that imply that I am an advocate for transgendering, despite the fact that I stated my conviction that it is Satanic.
Also, two-thirds of transgenders do NOT undergo what is called “surgical reassignment.” They never have genital reconstruction surgery. Seventy-one percent of transgendered males say they NEVER want to undergo full genital construction surgery. These people take hormones and have plastic surgery which makes them appear more female or male. Often they will then find a transgendered partner of the opposite sex. This is how they have children, only the “male,” who is actually a female, carries the child. I think we have all seen that many times in what passes for the “news.”
I find it actually bizarre that so many on this site would feign that they know absolutely nothing about transgendering, and it that it is “extremely rare.”
You can continue to bury your head and pretend that this isn’t happening, or you can investigate. Go to You Tube. There are literally thousands of videos on this topic which clearly illuminate the unchanging biological markers of each gender. The videos, by analyzing unchangeable differences, are able to identify transgenders with a very high degree of confidence.
I have studied this topic in depth, obviously. I feel very confident about my claims that almost all celebrity females are transgendered. All of the “females” in the Olympics are transgendered. All of the women reading the news are transgendered. And many people in politics and among the wealthiest families are transgendered. I don’t really care what you choose to believe, but this issue IS affecting you life.

A Cisturcian monk is the one who told us the Bishops were the ones who lobbied for sex ed in the public schools at the State House . These were good priests and sadly they have all died now.
When I started home schooling I met with the Superintendent of schools to show her my curriculum. I had told her our children never brought text books home for homework in the Catholic schools. Then she told me why and I found out it was because the Parochial schools bought the used Public School text books every two years from the public schools at a quarter of the cost. The books had the local public school stamp in them and that is why they never came home!
We paid for them twice. Once in out taxes and then in the highly inflated Parochial tuition bill which said that just the curriculum texts cost 900 bucks per student per year !!!………..A HUGE LIE!”

Long before the Vatican instituted a process for canonization, popular Catholic belief “canonized” those who had died a martyr’s death. If you were tortured by the state and died for Christ, you were considered a saint. It was only later when Catholics died in the odor of sanctity that it became necessary to examine their merits and demerits in order to ascertain whether they in fact had made it to heaven. At one time, if you weren’t martyred, your heavenly salvation was not considered assured. That is why miracles were necessary for the canonization process. They were God’s good housekeeping seal of approval.
Do I accept the saints of this Church? No, but I believe only those, like Padre Pio are in heaven, with a high degree of sanctity or those who were obviously martyred.
It does not require any “sifting” to see that without obvious miracles and holiness a “saint” is not necessarily a saint.

I believe JP2 changed the procedure for sainthood by eliminating the Devil’s Advocate and reducing the required 3 miracles to one miracle. This paved the way for his own “sainthood”. After ensuring the faith of the small number of remaining priests, bishops and maybe cardinals, then a valid conclave could be held based on the Apostolic Constitution of Leo XIII, as none of the 20th century popes, orther than Pius X were validly elected. I have reason to believe that it was Pius X’s Apostolic Constituion that was tampered with in order to allow total p0erpetual secrecy at conclaves, that is, secrecy, before, during and after conclave. This secrecy was not in keeping with Catholic traditon, which means that NO conclaves before that of 1914 maintained perpetual post-conclave secrecy by all participants. Don’t believe me? You don’t have to. There is a professor at the University of Virginia, who wrote a book on conclaves. He says right in his book that getting information on pre-1914 conclaves was a breeze but after 1914, it was almost impossible.
Continuing to attend the Novus Ordo church is not fighting for the Catholic Church. It is fighting against the latter by giving the former legitimacy.

16 million every Sunday Mass Catholics. 16 million Catholics who are allegedly seriously practicing the Faith. How many people are regularly commenting on this blog about Catholicism? Five? Ten? I went over the past many threads and it is the same people here every day. The same 5 or 10 people out of a group of 16 million.
Doesn’t that strike anyone as rather odd? Back in 2,000, when we first got our computer I used to go to chat rooms on AOL. AOL was one of the few and highly popular servers back then. There would usually be less than 10 or 15 people in a chat room. And chat rooms were a very popular meme back then, sort of like how Facebook is today. Yet there was fewer than 100 names in chat, and for the most part it seemed very fake…just the same few sentences scrolling over and over. No one actually participating. Think about the fact that we are talking about less than 100 people out of tens of millions.
Now we have You Tube. And You Tube gets a lot of buzz, especially about recent censorship. But almost no You Tube videos have more than a few thousand views,
music videos excepted. That is a few thousand, more often a few hundred, out of tens of millions, maybe hundreds of millions, since the entire world allegedly goes to You Tube.

I can’t reply directly to Tom A below, so I’ll reply to myself. I do not agree with staying home. The Catholic Church as flawed as it is by Vatican II and a series of heretic freemason popes, modernist theology, sodomite clergy, etc., still puts itself forth as the One, Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. Is the liturgy Protestantized? Yes. Are the sacraments invalid? Only God knows. I’m in no position to judge the state of someone’s soul or to judge the validity of a sacrament before God. When I receive what I hope is Jesus’ Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist, I always pray, Please Jesus, if you are here present allow me to Worship and Adore you as God Almighty, but if You are not present, forgive my ignorant idolotry of mere bread.
Now, you wonder why am I neither a Recognize and Resist nor a Sedevancantist? I seem to be split between both camps. The answer is in the previous post. The answer revolves around the validity of the conclaves. While I can’t determine the validity of the Sacraments, I believe any thinking Catholic looking at the historical events of 1914 and the conclaves that followed must come to the conclusion that someone tampered with the Apostolic Constituion of Pius X. And yes, there is a smoking gun. That smoking gun is the Pius X Oath pledged by Cardinals upon their election to the Cardinalate. If post- conclave secrecy was to be held by the participants in perpetuity, it would surely have been mentioned in that Oath. Oh, many things are mentioned in that Oath, but not post-conclave secrecy.
I questioned the validity of the conclaves due to this secrecy with both Tradition in Action and Novus Ordo Watch. Obviously they are on opposite sides of the ecclesiastical fence. Neither considered such secrecy to be of any importance and both openly ridiculed the suggestion that such secrecy amounted to anything. Secrecy is the very definition of the operation of freemasonry. It is with this type of masonic secrecy that the Catholic Church could be overtaken in conclave. It undoubtedly is of the greatest importance. With the code of Canon Law of 1917, the former eccleastical punishments for simony no longer applied, so simonists can get away with murder, literally, in conclave. Due to the fact that both R&R’s and Sedes websites will not even consider the role of conclaves in the destruction of the Catholic Church during the 20th century, I suspect them both of Saul Alinsky divide and conquer tactics, which achieve nothing in bringing the Catholic Church back to Christ, but do drive Catholics either to insanity, due to logical contradiction or to separation from each other. Sort of what Francis I seems to be trying to do in China.

When I go to my hometown newspaper it is the exact same thing.
