We can tell an awful lot about a man based on the company he keeps.
As Christians, however, we know that one has to be careful not to judge rashly; like the Pharisees, who thought they had Our Lord pegged based on the motley crew that often surrounded Him.
What they failed to recognize is that Jesus did not endorse anyone’s sinful lifestyle; on the contrary, He never lent credence to the nefarious ways of any person or group.
If and when a man does this, however, now that’s a truly foolproof gauge of his mettle.
This brings me to recent news that Francis has endorsed an initiative of the Global Catholic Climate Movement.

Following the 2nd anniversary of the publication of his encyclical “Laudato Sì – On Care of our Common Home”, Pope Francis has endorsed a pledge campaign that aims to mobilize at least 1 million people to directly engage in turning the encyclical’s message into action.
Organized and promoted by the Global Catholic Climate Movement … The “Laudato Sì Pledge campaign” has received support from Church leaders from around the globe including Cardinal Turkson, Cardinal Tagle, Cardinal Ribat, Cardinal Cupich and Cardinal Marx. It has also garnered the support of major environmental leaders.
Tomás Insua, Executive Director of the Global Catholic Climate Movement, said, “We are grateful and inspired by Pope Francis’ endorsement…”
Wow! Did you catch that lineup of progressive “Princes”? It’s a veritable Who’s Who of heretics in Catholic clothing; the New Guinean prelate Ribat being the only one among them whose reputation isn’t globally well-known.
Of course, such men have long been in the Adversary’s service, but at least in this case they can at least claim to be following the lead of His Tree-Hugger-in-Chief.
At this, let’s take a closer look at this Global Catholic Climate Movement (GCCM).
According to their website, GCCM is a global network of member organizations formed in response to the Green Envirocyclical, Laudato Si’.

In a July 2016 article, Bill Donahue of the Catholic League wrote of the organization:
Catholics in Alliance is a front for George Soros, the billionaire who supports abortion-on-demand and other public policy initiatives that are anathema to the Catholic Church.
It is run by [unapologetic Obama and Clinton supporter] Christopher Hale, a left-wing activist who works with Catholic dissidents and ex-Catholics to oppose the Church. He has an article posted on the website of Time that explains why Soros greases him: It is titled, “Trump-Pence is the Most Anti-Catholic Republican Ticket in Modern History.”

It is, however, perfectly suited for an endorsement from Jorge Mario Bergoglio.

Regrettably, Trump isnt nearly the president many had hoped he would be; of course, we probably should have known that going in (and I’m not talking about all the idiocy that the left is spouting about him). He’s the best we had though…and that’s sad.
Sadly, I think the odds of Pres. Trump consecrating Russia are greater than Bergoglio doing the consecration. Bergoglio puts more emphasis on protecting the planet earth than he does on protecting the flock because he is “worldly” in every sense. He is a puppet of the Prince of the World.

Please know just who Trump is. For any Catholic to honestly believe, that while at once Jorge Mario Bergoglio can pose as the Holy Roman Pontiff of the One True Church, as the 6th usurper of the Chair of Saint Peter—while in deception alone—and Trump, who is the president of a nation born in Freemasonry, whose Constitution was signed by 39 men, 13 of whom (33%) as documented Freemasons, is somehow apart from Freemasonry in this time of heretofore unrecognized darkness in the world, is simply stated, in humility and charity, absurd. That’s interesting stuff. I do like and have hope for Trump although like you said earlier the U.S. was founded and is still based on freemasonic principles plus the fact that Trump’s ideas and beliefs aren’t based on Catholic teachings probably add up in the long run to not much changing. But I do think it’s a good possibility, and may even already has happened a bit, that with the constant vitriol hate being directed at Trump, his family, his supporters and anyone else that has anything at all to do with him (although I realize this could also be a part of the so-called “Trump Deception”) that he has become more aware of how powerful, evil, and diabolical his opponents on the left are which hopefully causes him to lean more on God and, who knows, maybe even the Catholic Church. He does seem to surround himself with Catholics. Nevertheless, I think most here would agree that ultimately the only real solution to the U.S. and whole world’s humongous problems lies with the Pope and his doing of the Act of Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in union with all the bishops of the world at the same time as commanded by Jesus and Mary at Fatima.
By the way, you say Trump’s father was a freemason while, unless I misread, the article only says his father was a presbyterian “pastor” and uses that as an argument for Trump being the one in the Biblical prophecy who doesn’t follow the same “God of his father” or something like that.. don’t remember exact quote. As you wrote earlier it’s a problem with this guy not being Catholic since, as the Catholic Church has always taught, anyone outside the Church, presbyterian or freemason, are all following the lies of the Devil regardless if they call themselves different names so ultimately Trump is really following the same exact “God” that his father did so that’s at least one point of his argument that he loses me on.
Yet America remains one of the most Christian nations on earth. I do not agree with you that America is an “evil nation”, just because the Founders were some Freemasons. Must we be damned for all time because of the pagan inclinations of the men who put our nation together? That doesn’t seem fair, and I would argue that America, a Superpower, has certainly been a benevolent nation, and the world has benefited. I would say much good has come out of the US. As I said, Christianity is important to many Americans, and Americans help out in many nations and when tragedy strikes. One could argue that would mean good fruit coming from an evil tree and that is inconsistent.
President Trump. I cannot fathom, one iota, why any Catholic or other Christian would not be rejoicing every day that our president is Donald J. Trump. His ascendency seems providential, it was so unlikely and, he is one of a kind. He has already done more to help our nation, and thus far, he is still just trying to unravel and roll back Obama’s madness. He’s not perfect, but are you, am I? Most assuredly not, but he is obviously a serious Christian, who has done some really great things already! One recent example, the man has a heart. He offered to help Charlie Gard. NO other leader, including the Queen, offered to help, but he did. There are many other examples of his general goodwill, and his recent speech in Poland should remove all doubt as to his understanding of our world situation and Christianity’s place in it. It defies comprehension, especially when considering the alternative, to hear Catholics criticize the man. If in the next election, a Democrat (Communist) is put in our White House, it will basically be “game over” for Christians, so it defies logic as to why an actual Christian would not show some appreciation for President Trump. I say, God bless him and continue to guide him and protect him. We are blessed to have him.
I have no idea what Trumps intentions are or if this whole deal of his is a big charade or what but only speaking on what I’ve seen him say or do thus far and on the surface I can’t think of anyone in the world the last 60 years or so that has done more to thwart the diabolical one-world government/religion agenda than Donald Trump. There’s nobody even close. Sadly, he’s already done more in a few months to frustrate their satanic agenda than all of the last 5 Popes put together. Evangeline, one thing I disagree with you, though, is your reference to Trump as a “Christian.” No one outside of the Catholic Church is Christian. For instance, the first protestants followed and continue to follow the teachings of Martin Luther, not Jesus Christ, therefore that’s why until recently we logically always called them LUTHERans not CHRISTians. Actually that’s being nice because they really were and should continue to be called heretics. I think someday that we’ll find out that calling LUTHERans, PROTESTants and HEREtics CHRISTian as if they are following CHRIST and not LUTHER is not only a blasphemy lie offending Christ but has become one of the greatest accepted heresies of all time about a 1000 times more damaging, confusing or dangerous than anything Pope Francis has ever said or did imho. So now I’m thinking about that Bible verse about taking the speck out of our own heretical eyes before jumping all over the heresies of Pope Francis or the kettle calling the pot black.
