I’m happy to announce that I’ve been invited to speak at the upcoming CMRI Annual Fatima Conference in Spokane, WA, which will take place at the historic Mount St. Michael from October 9-13, 2024.
My talk is scheduled for Saturday evening, Oct. 12, following dinner. It has been eight years since I’ve spoken at a Catholic conference of any kind. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward not only to speaking, but also to meeting Bishop Mark Pivarunas, the priests, religious, and laity who will be at this event.
I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about this conference over the years. If you happen to live in the Pacific Northwest or can otherwise make the trip, check out the details at the link above.
As for my presentation, this one will be a little different than any other I’ve given insofar as it will include some personal details about my own “journey,” so to speak, from the darkness of counterfeit Catholicism to the light of authentic tradition. I will discuss the events, ideas, and insights that led to my “conversion” from staunch defender of Vatican II to one of its more vocal detractors. In so doing, perhaps there are some lessons to be gleaned that might help others see the truth about the Council and the false religion to which it gave rise.
I genuinely do not enjoy talking about myself or my story, however, holier and wiser men than me have prevailed in convincing me to do so. We’ll see how it goes. By the grace of God, hopefully it will prove beneficial to those in attendance.
