I recently had the pleasure of joining Joe Bagnoli on VOCR to discuss the direction in which Pope Francis appears to be leading the Church based on insights derived from recent comments made by Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga.

Dear Mr. V.–yes , thank you. I did link the brethren to it in an earlier comment too, because I think it is most edifying.
It is good for me to have a mentor in you, Mr. V.-the interview is appropriate for even those in their teenage years, in my opinion, it is so tempered yet acutely straightforward, insightful, pointed.
What a pleasure to hear two Catholic men , speaking on current issues, with no hedging and with an obvious wholly devoted love for our Faith.
God love you and peace be to you.
There was a time that I can recall vividly when most Catholic men spoke like this, late ’40’s-early 50’s, and as a tiny girl I could count on getting straight advice on matters of faith from my Dad’s gorgeous Catholic Italian immigrant family here in nyc.
Again, can I please thank you once more for your mentorship.
Excellent talk. The psychological warfare (def. Various techniques used, and aimed at influencing a target audience’s value system, belief system, emotions, motives, reasoning, or behavior. It is used to induce confessions or reinforce attitudes and behaviors favorable to the originator’s objectives), that these leaders are directing against the faithful can surely only have one aim – to destroy their faith.
Great interview.
I listened to this interview a few days ago on the VOCR website (www.voiceofcatholicradio.com). If anyone had any doubt as to the direction of the Pope Francis papacy, Cardinal Maradiago put all of these questions to rest. We are headed for full-blown Modernism!
Thank you, Louie and Joe, for watching out for us. This interview is an “eye-opener”!
Thank you—God bless yoy.
Mr. V. has a different system of belief than does our Church since V2.
Thanks be to God for Mr. V.
And may Our Lord have Mercy on His Church.
Do not discount the possibility that in another two or three Advents we Catholics will see a photo of the smiling Pope, ringing a bell, standing behind an enormous red kettle placed in the middle of Saint Peter’s Square.
That is who we are and we may as well just act the part.
Cardinal Maradiaga did us a favor. No more guessing about the future of the Church under Vatican II leadership. Forewarned is forearmed.
Great interview—Keep up the good work!
Dear Catholic militant,
Splendid statement you made–“Forewarned is forearmed.” And I actually find your statement encouraging. God love you.
Also, thank you again, Mr. V.-terrific audio.
