In 2015, America Magazine published an article celebrating Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel’s influential role in shaping the Vatican II document Nostra Aetate.
America reports:
From the very beginning, Rabbi Heschel worked hard to remove from the teaching of the Catholic Church any anti-Semitic words and any reference to a mission of the church for the conversion of the Jews.
Heschel was a theological consultant of the American Jewish Committee (AJC). He was also a close friend of Cardinal Augustin Bea, the Jesuit head of the Secretariat for Christian Unity. Together, the two men hammered out what eventually became the Council’s dubious treatment of the Church’s relationship with the Jews.
Heschel effectively achieved a redefinition of “anti-Semitism,” one that in practice includes nearly any suggestion that the Jews had a hand in the killing of Christ. It also made unacceptable even the slightest hint that they must repent and be Baptized in order to be saved.
The article continues:
In May 1962 he [Heschel] presented a memorandum in which he asked the council fathers to eliminate once and for all any accusation of deicide on the part of the Jewish people, to acknowledge the integrity and the perpetuity of the election of Jews in the history of salvation and, lastly, to give up proselytizing Jews.
The result is undeniable. The conciliar church has repeatedly promoted the false notion that self-identified Jews are presently in a perpetual salvific covenant relationship with God, despite having rejected Jesus Christ who said, “He who rejects me rejects Him who sent me” (Luke 10:16).
Make no mistake, the counterfeit church that emerged from Vatican Council II remains under a heavy Jewish thumb to this day.
Readers may recall that Francis caused an uproar back in 2021 when he (believe it or not) actually spoke like a Catholic, saying:
The Law [the Mosaic Law] does not give life, it does not offer the fulfillment of the promise because it is not capable of being able to fulfill it … Those who seek life need to look to the promise and to its fulfillment in Christ.
In response, Jewish leaders sent letters of protest to the Occupied Vatican expressing their objections. No one with any sense was surprised by what happened next as Cardinal Kurt Koch swiftly responded with a letter of his own, published on the Vatican website, reassuring the Jews:
This does not mean that the Torah is diminished or no longer recognized as the way of salvation for Jews.
With all of this in mind, one is hard pressed not to conclude that the putative popes of this counterfeit church are more akin to Chief Executive Ofiicers of a false religious enterprise, one inspired by the spirit of the Devil, with a Board of Directors comprised entirely of Jews.
None of what has been stated thus far is especially newsworthy to regular readers of this space, but very few likely realize that Nostra Aetate was but part of a two-pronged offensive carried out by the Jewish lobby at Vatican Council II.
Before we consider the second prong, let’s veer into the political realm for just a moment.
During a recent program, popular American political commentator Tucker Carlson made an astute observation:
It’s just interesting that you think of donors to the Republican Party and Democratic Party, I should say, who are pretty single-mindedly focused on the fortunes of Israel … is also very same group that has pushed open borders and has convinced the President to change his longstanding and often stated view on immigration … these are the same people who have pushed open borders in Europe.
Carlson went on to express his confusion as to why the most rabid promoters of Zionism – those in government as well as members of the wealthy donor class – are also among the most highly committed to facilitating the immigrant invasion that threatens to destabilize the United States and Europe, both culturally and economically.
“Why is that?” Carlson asked rhetorically. “Like, why would people who support Israel also be for changing the demographic mix of the United States?”
“That doesn’t make sense,” he concluded, genuinely or not.
Actually, it makes perfect sense.
This brings us back to the Jewish incursion that occurred at Vatican Council II.
Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel was the point man representing the Jewish agenda at Vatican II. To that end, he worked very closely with his friend Cardinal Augustin Bea, Secretariat for Christian Unity, the body that was responsible for drafting the text of both Nostra Aetate and Unitatis Redintegratio, the Decree on Ecumenism.
I would argue that Nostra Aetate and Unitatis Redintegratio are like brother and sister, offspring of the same Jewish influence.
Why, one may wonder, would Jewish leaders have any interest in influencing the Catholic Church’s approach to other so-called Christian communities?
The words spoken by Pope St. Pius X to Theodor Herzl in response to his request for the Church’s help in establishing a Jewish homeland in Palestine provide a hint. The Holy Father said, among other things:
The Jewish religion was the foundation of our own; but it was superseded by the teachings of Christ, and we cannot concede it any further validity.
Superseded. No longer valid.
Unlike the conciliar enterprise, the Catholic Church (after the manner of St. Paul) has never been bashful about declaring that Jesus Christ, the long-awaited Messiah, established the New and Everlasting Covenant, thus making the Old obsolete. According to this teaching, the Catholic religion alone is the one true religion, making it singularly superior to all others. As Pope Leo XIII stated:
The Church, indeed, deems it unlawful to place the various forms of divine worship on the same footing as the true religion … The Church is a society eminently independent, and above all others, because of the excellence of the heavenly and immortal blessings towards which it tends.(cf Immortale Dei, Officio Sanctissimo)
Above all others.
This includes, of course, the religion of those in our day who call themselves Jews. As Pope Pius X plainly stated: The Jewish religion was superseded by the teachings of Christ.
From a Jewish perspective – more appropriately, a Talmudic Jewish perspective – this is highly problematic, but not for entirely obvious reasons.
Yes, religious Jews are keen to insist that the Torah is the way of salvation for Jews, but bear in mind that the majority of self-identified Jews simply are not religious in any meaningful sense of the word.
Consider, for example, that 61% of American Jews don’t believe in Heaven at all, and only 22% believe in the existence of Hell, all of which serves as a good indication of where the concept of salvation ranks in importance among contemporary Jews. (See 2025 Pew Survey).
Despite any insistence on the part of self-identified Jews that the Old Covenant remains in force, the Talmud (a rabbinic text compiled from the third to the sixth century) has arguably more influence over the collective Jewish ethos than do the Hebrew Scriptures.
According to Israeli Chasidic Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, a prominent Talmudic scholar:
[Talmud] is a central pillar for understanding anything about Judaism, more than the Bible. The Talmud is not a divine gift given to people. The Jewish people created it. But on the other hand, it created the Jewish people. In so many ways, we’re Talmudic Jews, whether we believe in it or not. (Times of Israel, August 9, 2012)
We’ll get to why this is so important momentarily. For now, let’s return to the question at hand:
Why would the Jews of our time (Nostra Aetate in Latin), largely secular as they are, have any interest in the Church’s approach to other so-called Christian communities?
The short answer: Jewish Supremacy.
While Catholic teaching that the Old Law has been made obsolete is troublesome for some Talmudic Jews (as Rabbi Steinsaltz refers to his people), it’s the Church’s claim of superiority and exclusivity – that is, the notion that Jews are no longer the chosen ones, in a category all their own – that is most intolerable.
Why? Because it goes directly against the Jewish Supremacism enshrined in the Talmud which, among other disgraceful things, teaches that non-Jews are not just inferior humans, they are not really humans at all:
O seed of Abraham, the Lord has surely chosen you, as spoken by Ezekial; you are my sheepfold; I mean that you are men, whereas the other peoples of this world are not men, but beasts.(Treatise, Baba-Metsigna, f. 114.f.)
That said, the mortal foe of Talmudic Judaism is not so much the global goyim population as a whole, but rather very specifically Jesus Christ, and by extension, the Holy Catholic religion that He established.
Indeed, the solitary “religious” belief that unites all Jews, secular and otherwise, is the rejection of Jesus Christ. Beyond that, their beliefs, practices, and devotions are all over the map.
So, what were Talmudic Jewish Supremacists to do in the face of the Church’s audacious counterclaims?
Plainly broadcasting their supremacist beliefs in the public square wouldn’t do, in fact, it would be totally out of character. After all, the Talmud, which holds that Jesus is presently boiling in excrement in Hell, is the diabolically inspired writ of the Synagogue of Satan. As such, one should expect its adherents to behave surreptitiously, subtly, clandestinely.
Add to that the fact that, at just .2% of the world’s population, Talmudic Jews are vastly outnumbered and must, in order to exert a meaningful degree of influence, recruit non-Jews to their cause, in particular those who exercise power (e.g., Jerusalem, 33 A.D.).
Their best option for scourging the Mystical Body of Christ into submission, therefore, was to somehow convince Church leaders that they would do well, on behalf of persons of good will throughout the entire world, to relinquish their claim of being the one true religion that is above all others.
This is precisely what happened at Vatican II.
In Nostra Aetate, the Council heaped praise on other religions, specifically by name those of the Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus. It was the Jews of our time, however, who took the top prize:
As the sacred synod searches into the mystery of the Church, it remembers the bond that spiritually ties the people of the New Covenant to Abraham’s stock … Indeed, the Church believes that by His cross Christ, Our Peace, reconciled Jews and Gentiles, making both one in Himself. (cf NA 4)
In this, the Council effectively issued an amendment to the idea that the Catholic Church is above all others, granting to Jews a sort of grandfather clause, one that implies a certain parity between the people of the New Covenant and Abraham’s stock, and this by the Cross of Christ no less!
We see this concession to the Jews reflected in the rhetoric of the conciliar enterprise when it reassures them that while Christ is salvific for us, the Old Covenant remains salvific for them.
What more could the Jews hope for from the Council?
Plenty, evidently.
You see, for the Talmudic Jews, the very notion of parity with any non-Jews, but most especially Christians, is anathema, i.e., the mere suggestion that the Church of Christ and the Synagogue of Satan co-occupy some uniquely special category among men simply isn’t acceptable on either philosophical or practical grounds.
So, while the Jewish agenda made major headway in Nostra Aetate, it remained for the Church of Christ to be diminished, its doctrines watered down and weakened, stripped of any vestige of triumphalism and superiority, even if only within the broader so-called non-Catholic Christian community at large.
Enter the Decree on Ecumenism, wherein the Council bent over backwards to praise the schematics, the heretics, and their respective communities, even going so far as to anoint them as “means of salvation.”
The Holy Roman Catholic Church, which entered Vatican Council II as the one true religion that is above all others, emerged (or so it seems in the eyes of the world) as but one expression of the Church of Christ, the Synagogue’s ultimate adversary. (See LG 8, DH 1, UR 4)
The result is the conciliar enterprise presently in occupation of the Vatican, a counterfeit church wherein the proponents of a truly Catholic culture are treated as lepers; a church that encourages heretics, heathens, and (of course) Jews; excuses all manner of deviance; esteems the practitioners of false religions, including pagans, and goes out of its way to heap honor on socialists, abortionists, and ersatz clergymen (and women).
Worse still, this church wherein authentic Catholic expressions of faith – morally, doctrinally, and liturgically – have largely been diluted to the point of being unrecognizable, has managed to convince the preponderance of the human race that it is, in fact, the Holy Roman Catholic Church!
What can be said, on the other hand, of the post-conciliar condition of the Synagogue and its culture?
The Synagogue remains as saturated in pure, anti-Christian, Talmudic Jewish Supremacism as ever. In fact, it emerged from Vatican Council II all the stronger and all the more confident.
The most concrete manifestation of Talmudic Jewish Supremacism is, of course, the terrorist state of Israel, an ethno-state that exists solely for the benefit of Jews, a place where an influx of culturally diverse immigrants would never be allowed to occur for even a moment. In fact, the faux tolerance that Israel once disingenuously exhibited for non-Jews has been replaced by in-your-face genocide and unbridled expansionism.
This brings us back to Tucker Carlson and his confusion as to why the very people who exhibit the most fervent support for Israel also happen to be the same ones pushing the hardest for open borders, thus altering the demographic mix, and likewise the culture, of the United States and Europe.
The short answer once again is Jewish supremacy, a spiritual phenomenon that rests squarely upon the rejection of Jesus Christ and the Talmudic belief that non-Jews, although at times usefully employed in furtherance of their agenda, are less than human.
Just as the Talmudic Jews managed to influence the bishops at Vatican Council II to take steps that effectively diluted authentic Catholic culture as it has always existed in the Church established by their nemesis, Jesus Christ, so too have they been successful in manipulating – by hook or by crook, bribery or threat – the leaders of nations to institute policies that serve to radically alter the native way of life of their very own people.
The point of both of these diabolical efforts is the same, namely, to weaken anyone and anything that may stand in the way of the aims of Talmudic Jewish Supremacism.
Much, much more could be (and will be) written on this topic. I will conclude, however, with the words of David Ben Gurion, the first Prime Minister of the terrorist state of Israel.
Writing in 1961, Ben Gurion described his vision of the world as it would be twenty-five years in the future. That vision included the following (among other things):
– A United States transformed into a welfare state with a planned economy.
– Western and Eastern Europe as a federation of autonomous states having a Socialist and democratic regime.
– National armies abolished in favor of an international police force.
Perhaps the most significant part of Ben Gurion’s vision is the following:
In Jerusalem, the United Nations will build a Shrine of the Prophets to serve the federated union of all continents; this will be the seat of the Supreme Court of Mankind, to settle all controversies among the federated continents, as prophesied by Isaiah.
[NB: Don’t let the Biblical references fool you. Ben Gurion was well known for holding religious Judaism in utter contempt.]
So, tell me, reader, did the word “mankind” in Ben Gurion’s vision jump out at you?
It should have. Recall what the Talmud teaches:
… you [seed of Abraham] are men, whereas the other peoples of this world are not men, but beasts.
Of course the Talmudic Jewish vision includes a Supreme Court of Mankind headquartered in a Shrine in Jerusalem.
Any guesses as to who will sit in the judgement seat?
