I recently had the privilege of being interviewed for the first episode of a new podcast called “Saturday Night Trad.” Readers can give it a listen below. (Please excuse my rough voice. I’m on the tail end of a cold.) It’s pretty lengthy as it is (over an hour), but we could have gone on much longer – there’s so much to talk about.
This podcast is one to keep an eye on going forward as the host is a very bright, well informed Catholic with a good sense for the nature of the current crisis in the Church.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass said in Latin has extreme power against the devil and all his co-workers. The devil hates Latin. This mass has what is necessary for changing the whole world into Jesus’ Kingdom.

That was a free-ranging interview that covered a lot of interesting topics! I really enjoyed it and it gave me good food for thought on a number of topics. Kudos to both of you.
More than removing Latin, it is the essential doctrine that the Mass is a Sacrifice which makes satisfaction for sins that the Novus Ordo has deleted and denied. That is an infinitely more offensive thing to offer God as worship than having it in the vernacular. Keep studying the issues! You’re on the right track just by looking into these things.
Is there a podcast download link please Louie?
Concerning the dubia, according to the National Catholic Register on 11/14/17, Burke has given a final plea to Francis to respond:
Interviewer: Despite you and many others, including more than 250 academics and priests who have signed a filial correction, clearly having very serious misgivings about the effects of these passages in Amoris Laetitia, and because you have so far received no response from the Holy Father, are you here making a final plea to him?
Burke: Yes, for these grave reasons, one year after rendering public the dubia, I again turn to the Holy Father and to the whole Church, emphasizing how urgent it is that, in exercising the ministry he has received from the Lord, the Pope should confirm his brothers in the faith with a clear expression of the teaching regarding both Christian morality and the meaning of the Church’s sacramental practice.
Ok, so now what? Wait another year?
By the way great interview. Yes, I know our poor naive parents were totally taken advantage of. They were raising families while their trust in the hierarchy was used against them, and therefore, their children, we, have suffered. Eyes are opening though. We must pray for courage to finally speak and live for the Truth. It is so beautiful, this Mass, which has been hidden from me for almost 50 years. It is only by the Grace of God that I am even able to it now. It is only by the Grace of God that I am truly experiencing its Magnificence. It’s overwhelming. It is a completely different Mass than the novus ordo. COMPLETELY different. It’s just diabolical that they were able to pull this off with such ease. It’s mind boggling. It’s demonic, the whole thing.
After experiencing the heart piercing Latin Mass, after never having it, I could only imagine how Our Lord must look at them, those who literally busted up churches and alters to kill the Mass. Oh, I’m sure our Lady of Fatima mentioned this. It IS where the “rubber meets the road.” How could there be 2 masses? How could there be 2 Popes? There can’t be. How I long for a strong, Catholic, Holy Father.
Who’s this interviewer? I didn’t catch hi name.
In response to the Holy mass , I share in your most beautiful discovery of it, it’s the most beautiful n most Holy…..how easily this was taken away from us causes such an alarm of how weak the faith had actually grown among great grandparents n grandparents. Sure they grumbled about it and some simply walked away. Perhaps the previous generations response contributed to making it easy.
